Everyone is always saying that the Bad era Michael was the sexiest and in a lot of ways I do agree with that, but we shouldn't forget the OTW era either! I mean he was in extremely FINE shape back then. Just so young and full of excitement and energy. He was just on top of the World! He had his incredibly sexy body and his moves that no one else can possibly imitate and in my opinion he was the cutest and sexiest then! But of course I love Mike with ALL his different looks and styles.

I think today's fans are much more fickle. It doesn't seem to take much to hear a fan complain about their star. Today's generation seem to have less patience. They grew up on tabloid tv. Making fun of people is a pasttime. As far as artists go you can always dump and find another.

While Michael was growing up, I think at some point he started feeling most loved and accepted when performing on stage He needed the giving and receiving from his fans.. the feedback and reasurance. He came to think of and depend on them like family, writing notes and telling them he loved them

Is there anyone else that loved fans so deeply, that he would inspire so many to return that love by standing by his side during years of thick and thin and helping him thru the hell of a trial?

the world tour to promote Destiny album on Jan. 22, '79 with their opening concert in Bremen. Countries that were visited included Britain, Holland, France, Kenya. During the spring of 1979 the Jacksons performed some concerts in Britain. April 14, 1979 the Jacksons began their U.S tour in Cleveland, Ohio & finished in D.C after visiting 80 U.S cities.

He always looked so joyful on stage back in those days. I think in the last decade or so, all the joy was sapped out of him. Michael was one of a kind, and I think he always knew he would leave us early. That's why he crammed 10 lifetimes into 50 years. And I just have to say this: look at those teeth -- gorgeous. ;)

What happened in his private life is what really got him down. But wouldn't it janyone. All he ever wanted to do was make people happy and help the world and the media treated him like trash. It was just not right.

Not to nitpick, but this concert is NOT the Triumph Tour. It was still the Destiny Tour and this performance was in the fall of 1979. The Jacksons had 2 wings of the Destiny Tour. The first wing was in Europe and Africa and the second wing (started in the late summer of 1979 and ended in early 1980) was in the states.
