  • If you have a purpose and job to do in this life such as speaking to people about God , and helping get them to heaven as well then no it would not be correct to kill yourself.

  • watch the video before commenting

    misleading title

  • Spiritually death is a better answer. Why would a christian wanna kill him self when hes alive and you aint? Besides a christain would be breaking the 6th commandment;Thou shalt not kill ! Go figure.

  • Thats demonic!!!!kill themselves???The wages of sin is death. You already have unless you repent. .Death without God here and eternal death there! Very simply put!!!

  • If a murderer kills say 20 infants in a nursery, would they go to heaven for not being accountable yet nor candidates for hell? The killer would obviously go to hell for not repenting to such "cruelty" but wouldn't he have done the kids a favor? How many of those children would've been worthy for hell given the time? A short cut to heaven no questions asked, not bad! Could the assassin be considered their saviour?

  • @cuevarap If you're planning on going into childcare, it mightn't be the best idea to bring this up in the interview.

  • @Smithpolly Ha ha ha. The interviewer would say: "OK then, thanks for coming don't call us we'll call you."

  • @lotmein20 Islam in the middle ages where tower of knowlange and philosophy. It only has to do with doctrine, not religion as thing itself. Educate yourself.

  • If the pope decreed that killing yourself was no longer a sin, they would be building confession/suicide booths.

  • Christians do NOT believe this life is meaningless, but does KNOW that being with Jesus IS FAR better! So why not kill ourselves? Easy! Ours is a religion of self denial. Jesus says, "if you will be my disciple, you must deny yourself..." So while heaven is better, we will choose to live until our God decides to bring us home.

  • seriously guys, what value or worth or meaning do you have if you were the product of time and chance?

  • @TerrenceTheodore The life of non-believer is not subjugated to some mythical being who created man just to get worshiped by it. What's the point of your life if you don't even own it?

Imagine you are walking in a wonderful garden with a friend. Enyoing your day and nice summer morning. You have a chat with your friend and everything seems fine. Then friend says "do you know there is pixies here?" You asnwer that tehre is no pixies here. "How can you enjoy garden without pixies then?"

    Simple.

  • @WhereDidItRun there, my friend, is the crux of the issue. i read, "all things were made by him [Jesus] and FOR him," where you believe life is about you. I wish i could make you understand! truly!

  • @lotmein20 Yes the romans did opress science..

  • @lotmein20 dude read your history.. You can look at religeon as sabilzing moral issuas. without the diffrent religeon we would have morals all of our morals have come from religeon and no society in ancient times that acheived great things didnt have a common religeon. throw religeon out of the pictures alot of things go bad very quickly.

  • The problem I have with atheism is you only have one life. Which if theres no god there be no reason to live besides for yourself.

  • @TheDahock

Exactly. Who wants to live and know they only have this life to live. That to me is depressing.

  • It would be more depressing to me to find out that I was created for the sole purpose of worshipping a god who doesn't really need my worship. If this is the only life I get and it belongs to me, then I can make it as good as I want to. If our lives are like stories, then they can only have meaning if they end. And even God couldnt just give your life meaning unless you decided to accept that purpose anyway, so it's still you that chooses to give meaning to your life, with or without god.

  • @Staunts

So what do you say to three year olds that were killed by their drunk dads? Does their life have meaning? They didn't have the chance to make their lives meaningful. So they would just go out of existence and their lives would mean nothing if we go with the theory of no God. Our stories end in this life but continue if we choose to believe in something greater than ourselves. But most will not come to that conclusion because most if not all of us are self centered.

  • I can't offer a world that is designed to make you or anyone feel better, your argument really only shows your emotional bias. If God is in control, there would be no real point to doing his will, he would win no matter what anyone does. The fact that cruel things can happen in my worldview is precisely why there is need to fight for a better world. We fight for justice because nobody's gonna do it for us. Think of all the things you can do in your lifetime, and that isn't enough for you?

  • @Staunts

The world now is worse than it's ever been before as far as morals go. I feel fine, i'm just giving you a scenario. I look at it the way a Christian would and you look at it the way and Atheist would. That's fine, it is what it is. At the end of the day, you're going to think the same and i'm going to think the same. So there's no use of debating. Ofcourse you want this life to be the best it can be. I think that's how everyone should live rather you're religious or not.

  • Never before has there been a time when most of human culture has embraced the idea individual human rights for everybody, and you think the world is worse than ever? So, you think it was better when women and blacks were second class citizens? Slaves? It's not perfect, but you need a history lesson if you think the dark ages were better morally than today. That you and I are even able to have this conversation on the internet is a miracle of modern, secular society. Morals have improved.

  • @Staunts

In some ways, yes. In other ways, no. It depends on what you're talking about. But the things you have stated are correct. But do you think that the white house is better today than it was? That's when they actually did care for people. What about our education? Is that where it once was? The things that are shown on television now would have been outlawed back in the 60s and 70s. You're talking about hundreds of years, I'm talking about within the last 50-60 years.

  • Right, but I think that the state of 'modern times' is usually painted up to be significant by the people who inhabit it. There has never been a time in human history without some kind of problem, so everybody thinks they live in the worst time ever. The grass is always greener, just like how the idea of no life after death depresses you, only because you think you are entitled to more. As an atheist my expectations of life are reasonable and thus my life is like eternity to me.

  • In the bible it directly states that, if you commit suicide, it the only sin that cant be forgiven which mean you wont be able to live in heaven... so to say for a christian to kill themselves because its would be easier, is probaly the dumbest advice someone can give

  • @chirectomy to die is certainly a gain for worms who are going to eat you

  • Who says we as Christians meaning those of us non fundies who believe in an afterlife do not love every minuten of our existance here in the now i do but i also see how bad the Secular worls treats one another and want to see man kind in the positive way it should be and want more out of life and know it will not happen so i will accept be considered craxy for wanting a better treatment of people in a daqy to day bases

  • @kuitta10 no one has the right to judge other people? what the fuck the bible is all about judging people???

  • @kuitta10 Also believing in a god without proof is illogical. I am not arrogant, it would be arrogant to believe in the massive expanse of the universe there is a god listening to you especially. If you are stupid and decide to believe in something with no proof, you passed the test? Do all atheists go to hell? Well if they do that is a statement to your god's immorality.

  • @kuitta10 I guess technically before you were alive you weren't dead, but still that's what death is like. I don't need to sugarcoat it with heavens and afterlives. What proof do I have that god doesn't exist? None, but that's not the question and also a fallacy. You don't believe in unicorns because you can't disprove them. If life is a test it certainly isn't a fair one, and in order for it to be accurate it would have to be fair. It's more a test of your own gullibility and stupidity.

  • @kuitta10 Well, before you were born, you were dead. You weren't alive before you were born and won't be after you die. Why should death be any different? I don't believe in anything without solid proof. If you were a father, and your kids did you wrong, would you torture them endlessly in your basement, that's what god is doing. Most people are more moral than the god they believe in. It's ridiculous. I don't really think we have a goal, other than the progression of our species really.

  • @kuitta10 Sorry, but I accept reality. Ever been knocked unconscious? That's what death is like, sleep with no dreams, that lasts eternally. Consciousness is all you have, if your soul went anywhere, you wouldn't know anyway. There is no afterlife. You have one life, don't waste it on ridiculous religions.

  • @kuitta10 seeya have a good night :)

  • @kuitta10 hey if anyones got proof of a god then thats world shattering news i may not be religious but i love religious myths and legends ...when you wanted answers did you go straight to the religion that majority of people in your country studies or did you take a look at a wide selection of religions ...if you dont wanna answer its fine i just find it very interesting :)

  • @kuitta10 yes you said you were an atheist why have you gone to religion ? did you get the proof or i dont know .. i never met an atheist to religion convert before :) ( yeah we do sound arrogant but is it wrong to want proof of something before we believe or devote our lifes to it ? )

  • @kuitta10 no offence mate but this is a video from the atheist experiance if non atheists come and comment on this video it is because they want a debate ... and im not judging im just asking for evidence from someone i assumed was religious :)

  • @kuitta10 thank you for making me feel like im sane and not talking to myself :D i said this a few times lately but .... christianity is 2k years it is a belief system ...thats 2k years with no evidence to back it up 2000 years and no proof thats not a good statistic ...if there was proof then christianity wouldnt be a faith it would be fact based knowledge ...right ?

  • @kuitta10 you obviously care enough cause you have commented to me and you have resorted to name calling and you have found yourself on an atheist video sooo ... :). atheism is not a belief please show me the video link and the comment and name of the person who told you it was a belief and ill talk to him hahaha

  • @kuitta10 its not a belief silly its a lack of belief but if i get some evidence then im game :)

  • @kuitta10 nope atheism isnt a religion atheism is a word to describe people who dont believe in fictional creatures like god ... if you gave us real proof of god then wed change our minds about his existance ...... but id bet the majority will tell him to go fck himself ...

  • @kuitta10 Atheism is not a religion. It is NON-belief, pure and simple. Is NOT collecting stamps a hobby?

  • They need to read the Will to meaning..by I think Frankel...All men must die...Happy land? Mechnical flesh machines? WOW Where does it say in the Bible that all people that kill themselves Go to Hell? It does not..These people are simply Secular Humanists..they don't even understand the Bible and that is woefully apparent..These people don't even understand the basic premises of The Christian faith..They are their worst enemy..

  • belief in god is total bullshit

  • now there getting idea, yes go kill yourself.

  • This guy was once a "Christian"? He shows such ignorance when it comes to understanding a relationship with Jesus Christ. Someone tell this idiot that we don't love Christ because we get to go to Heaven. We love Christ because He is the perfect Creator of everything. And, this guy went to Seminary? Which matchbook cover Seminary School did he go to? He criticizes Christians for wanting a "sky-daddy" and then describes God as just that.

  • @YesYou123333 No, you love Christ because he told you to love him "by choice" and the alternative is eternal pain and torcher.

  • @Muckydoo That's rather presumptuous of you isn't it? How do YOU know the reasons I love someone? Oh, I forgot, atheists KNOW everything.

  • @YesYou123333 I was wrong, I'm sorry. You love Christ because the BIBLE told you to... But I do believe you truly love that placebo effect...I mean christ.

  • @Muckydoo Yep. You're an atheist all right. Hey everyone. Listen to this guy. He knows everything. He can even read my mind when it comes to how and why I love Someone. Amazing. And some people call atheists arrogant....ridiculous.

  • @YesYou123333 Ok how about this. What is your rational basis for belief in Jesus?

Please don't get hostile with me because I'm not looking for a flame war, I just want to clarify what they other person was trying to say in perhaps a nicer manner.

  • @Aviii Rational? OK. I believe in God because the Universe is too beautiful to have happened by chance. Look at the planets. First Mercury. A barren rock planet that cannot sustain life for even 1 second. Same with Venus. Then all of a sudden a PERFECT planet appears out of nowhere. Then Mars. A planet where life cannot sustain itself. I cannot be convinced this happened by chance.

  • @YesYou123333 The beauty of the universe only proves its beauty. Our planet was formed by a purely chance (and violent) process in the accretion disk that surrounded the Sun around the time of our star's formation. The fact that Earth landed in the right spot in the solar system is sheer luck. For the first billion years of our planet's life, it was completely unable to support life.

There isn't even anything special about our sun. It's just a main sequence G class non-binary star (common).

  • @Aviii I don't think we could be that lucky. All that "luck" and PLUS we have an atmosphere that protects us from radiation and we have a moon that keeps our oceans clean and the earth tilts back and forth to change the seasons and we have these wonderful things to eat....no, I'm sorry I don't buy your luck argument.

  • @YesYou123333 The very fact that we exist is a testament to our luck. Earth could just as easily have ended up where Mars or Mercury are today.

Venus also has an atmosphere capable of protecting against radiation. The problem with Venus though is that it's atmospheric content and proximity to the Sun cause it to have a runaway greenhouse effect.

The character limit on the comments is limiting my ability to respond properly, would you mind having this conversation in the mail system?

  • @Aviii That's where we differ. You think it's luck. I don't.

  • I'm lookin' for a good college that was founded by atheists, baldy!

    got any in mind?.............tsk, tsk!

i'm lookin' for a country with a history of great ideas and innovations, great educational systems, fair governments and i'd like it to be dominated by atheists!

    got any in mind?.........tehe!

i'm lookin' to join an organization that takes leadership roles in humanitarian efforts around the globe, i.e. in haiti and japan; you know, like the Christian Church..but ATHEIST run!.....HELP!

  • @graysonTW I'm looking for a community of scientists that believe in the idea of a God and support creationism, Grayson.

    Got any in mind?....Tsk, tsk!

I'm looking for a cure that involved answered prayers and amputees magically gaining back their limbs because they had faith.

    Got any in mind?.....Tehe!

I'm looking to find a prison made up majorly of atheists/non-believers. Oops. Can't find any of those either.

  • @Oujitan "scientists that believe"..the most self-indulged group on earth....won't happen!

"looking for a cure"...sciences job, methinks. the reason they don't cure much at all is probably because too many of them like HARRIS, SINGER, WEINSTEIN branch out and become philosophers, etc. they fail so miserably at science (like what exactly has science cured) that they look for audiences where they can spout their RELIGION of ATHEISM!

some scum killed a 10 yr. old and you blame Christianity?

  • @graysonTW

Does that mean religious myths are true?..... no.

Does that mean atheism is wrong?.... no.

The fact is, religion is the training wheels of social development. Atheists just take off the training wheels and ride the friggin' bike.

  • SoG blocked me as well. He cannot tolerate any kind of scrutiny or debate. He reminds me of a cult leader in many ways.

  • Atheist are funny. These two make the point that individuals should be self validating and life is inherently valuable without the need of a god. Isn't focusing on the self and inherent value of self the building blocks of the most monstrous ideologies/actions in history. Manifest destiny (self direction), Aryan master race (inherent value). The Bible...

  • ...states the heart of a man is desperately wicked. A focus on self is also a focus on a person's destructive desires and evil lust often to the detriment of fellow human beings. That's why there is a need for God. Self love. Atheist practice it. It is a luciferian doctrine. The greatest trick the devil played on man was convincing man he didn't exist. Cliche, but true.

  • Best thing a Christian can do is kill oneself? That's the "intellectual" argument here? It only helps support the point that this guy has not understood the scripture. Suicide is forbidden. Anyone that says otherwise is stating inaccuracies. Don't take my word for it, or his, look it up yourself. Do the thinking for yourself.

  • @Biblehastheanswer maybe you should practice what you preach... and watched the full video, instead of just making a knee jerk comment just by reading the title.

  • @Biblehastheanswer Did you watch the video? He directly states that many religions forbid suicide. Don't take my word for it, watch the video and listen. Do the thinking for yourself.

  • crap 4 like 30 seconds there i wanted to kill my self crap I belived in hevean i would of done it

  • the problem with this reasoning is, if i understand the bible correctly, their is no sex in heaven.

  • Ok if you die or someone kills you do they not claim that is gods plan, then if you kill yourself is that not gods plan.If it was not then you would not do it.

  • GREAT ADVICE. TIME TO GO JUMP OFF MY APARTMENT!

  • Why are athiests so angry? Most of the comments on this site are from the people angry with christians.

Condemning the faith of Christianity, suggest your failures within yourselfs, and not christians, who cannot force you to believe in God, But have every RIGHT to declare God's love to you.

Athiesism is still in the minority....

  • @Putnis1 Talk to the guys over in the Netherlands. They're certainly not angry atheists; THEY have one of the lowest overall crime rates in history.

  • @Putnis1 if that's not rhetorical, best answer i can give is that if you think you can't force people to believe in God, then you shouldnt even begin to try "declaring God's love" for people who already don't believe there is a God. That's when ur right to believe what u want is starting to collide with my right. Don't u think preaching the word of god is "condemning atheism"? and why is condemning atheism ok but not religion? if no one imposed religion on atheists in any way = no anger

  • @Putnis1 A) Most of the time, atheists are responding to Christians in anger because Christians troll vids like this and start arguments or suggest we have "failures within" ourselves (for example). Don't take my word for it. Read the threads. B) The fact that atheism is the minority has nothing to do with anything. C) Bill of Rights. 1. Freedom of religion, freedom FROM religion. Keep the bullshit to a minimum please, grown-ups are talking.

  • @UToobin32 I work with people from all cultures, races and sex, with friend who are both straight and gay or bi-sexual. We all have respect to each other choices, including religion. Sadly, we all agree that the most angry people we meet in discussion tend to be athiest.

Your choice to hate is a problem targetted at all religious groups. Your failures belong to you, and your lack of belief... an so what? Do you not live a society with a choice to choose freedom from religion?

  • @Putnis1 I would agree that the atheist come about with much more slanderous arguments. But what makes us angry, and what is making me angry right now, is you suggesting I have failures within because I don't believe in Bronze Age mythology. Do you not see how arrogant and ignorant that is? You Christians think belief in God gives you the right to judge people without knowing them, while Atheists are simply reacting to those judgments. Albeit with verbal abuse. It's 2011, let's evolve.

  • @Putnis1 - You have chosen to come to an Atheist video and pick a fight and then you accuse of being "angry". Do you even begin to see the irony? You have chosen to go on the attack not the atheists.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 My freedom of CHOICE!!!!

  • @Putnis1 - Well then clearly you do not understand the irony. It has nothing to do with "freedom of choice." It is comparable to punching someone in the face and then accusing them of being violent. You are the one that has chosen to be to start a fight, no one else. Understand? Of course not.

  • @WillShakespeare2007 More anger!!!

Tell you what... Go and sit on a toilet and shit out all that anger? I bet you feel a lot less angry!!!!

    Now get lost.

  • @Putnis1 - You are the one that needs to both calm down and grow up. I have said nothing aggressive to you and only been polite. You however respond with

"More anger!!! Tell you what... Go and sit on a toilet and shit out all that anger? I bet you feel a lot less angry!!!! Now get lost."

The question you should be asking is why are YOU filled with so much hatred and anger? Also "shit out all the anger?" seriously how crude and awful are you 13?

  • @WillShakespeare2007 So, going to the toilet did not work??

    Try wanking?

  • @Putnis1 - If you think I am suddenly going to stoop to your level and start being abusive you are wrong. I am an educated, articulate adult and don't do such thinks. I won't respond again and will leave it to someone else to get unravel your fascination with male bodily functions.

  • We put up so much shit on this earth for what? It's all gonna end. Deal with it. That's life.

  • life is meaningless either way you look at it. What's the point in anything? Really. That's how it is. No need to sugarcoat it.

  • @whatafart why do you say that? life IS meaningful, it is hard to live it, but there are some good things in this world that is WORTH FIGHTING FOR! you're worth fighting for my friend. and you don't need a belief in an invisible God to care for someone else, you don't need a God to give you incentive to do good for others or to want to see a smile on anothers face... give life a try bro. don't give up, we must try our best to make the world a better place for all! :D

  • @whatafart Indeed, life ITSELF is meaningless, but we create our own meanings of life.

  • If someone commits the unforgivable sin, and is then converted, shouldn't the most logical thing for them to do be kill all the Christians? Christianity is fucked up when someone would be considered logical to do this?

  • Comment removed

  • Yea.... Seems no christians actually understand what jesus wanted.

He cares not if you believe in him. If you don't give yourself to others you are screwed regardless. Bad people go to hell anyways. Good people go to heaven. When you die, the question you will be asked is quite simple, why did you not believe in me, if you followed my teachings?

    At that you simply answer:

The teachings were true, but the teachers were false.

You died on the cross for our sins, not for what religions do.

  • @Flem1337

since i am sinless that does not apply to me

  • If a Christian kills himself then how is he going to help other people, which is what being Christian is all about?

  • @darkilustrisimus No, being Christian is about saving yourself

  • @Minkki82 you can save your self only by saving others.

  • @darkilustrisimus Dude you don't know much about Christianity then. What about a child, does he have to save others to save himself? Or someone who converts on his death bed? No you don't need to do anything in Christianity to be saved other than to believe

  • @Minkki82 Everyone is suppose to do as much as he can, including child, but since it is child it can't do much.

Yes, you have to believe that God exists, God is love.

Saving others is not something Christian must do, it is something he wants to do, otherwise he doesn't really believe in God.

This is how I understood Christianity.

  • im christian should i kill myself i will if u tell me too i beleive i should die for Jesus

  • @justinarrieta420

u r 2 big of a coward to even consider it

  • @luyben12 Precursor of the coming persecution..it begins in intellectual debates ,next generation will be doing the killing.

  • If i take my life to save some1 else's life, would that be considered suicide or is that a free get out of jail card? x)

  • Murder is wrong so that includes murdering yourself. There are some religions and cults though that people do commit suicide.

  • @steffyb528 Jamestown...

  • @xxxxkimoxxxx Jamestown? What, the colony?

  • @steffyb528 Oh typo, sorry i meant Jonestown. Just reiterating the point you made.

  • @xxxxkimoxxxx oh ok

  • 911 terrorists died for happyland by screwing their life

  • Wow talk about putting words into peoples mouths.

  • I can't stand thay little guy to Matt's right. He always interrupts as though Matt might not be able to formulate his thoughts! Doesn't he know most people watch BECAUSE of Matt? When he's talking - shut up! Even Matt seems a little annoyed at losing his train of thought at 1:55

  • This Matt guy seems to have never studied the Bible. He fails to understand that our bodes are the temple of the Holy Spirit, that's why suicide is wrong and his argument fails.

  • @SporkFire

    Now that's hilarious.

  • These guys don't have the balls to criticize Muslims becasue they know Christians won't do shit.

  • i find it sad that these people feel so sure about what they think. we live in a reality with infinite possibilities. only a fool would limit infinity.

  • @denzielle20

Infinite possibility doesn't mean every possibility. You already weren't born a duck. That's not going to change even with infinite possibility. Impossible things still won't happen.

  • @denzielle20 i find it sad that you know nothing. They say in almost every episode that "I never said "there is definatly no god, theres just probably not one. I just dont believe there is one." and not believing and believing there is no god are 2 different thing. Learn to think.

  • @Asadorngasm i dont believe there is a snake under the chair; im believing there is no snake on the chair. something like that? you remind me of my old teacher. she always judge her students according to their test results. shes got no idea about how much i know about the world outside.

  • surrounded by darkness... your show is...

  • For the record "They" didn't add a "loop hole" to cover themselves up, think about it logically, which I know is hard for most atheists to do, We must earn our place in heaven, we must live our life according to "their" plan so that we can enter when our life comes to a close, I don't believe God decides everything but that he knows what will happen and that he can change things according to his will. I'm hoping that on that final day (no man knows it) I'll be worthy, God forgive you all.

  • @keringkein And how do you know all this? The bible? You do realise that the bible was written by man and man has a tendency to lie and deceive don't you!? And for you to say that it is hard for Atheists to think logically is the most ignorant stupid thing i've ever heard. How is reading the bible and thinking everything written in it is logical!? You clearly haven't read it properly. God decides this.. God decides that.. HOW DO YOU KNOW!? You have no way of proving it! Its a fucking fairy tale!

  • Such a lame show. These people wish there were smart. They think a public access show makes it so. The facts are never right, and why do they only talk bad about Christians and not other religions?

  • @StormRisingOriginal "The facts are never right, and why do they only talk bad about Christians and not other religions? "

The number is on the screen... Call in! If you believe that they have presented incorrect facts, then call in and tell them where they are wrong. They cite their sources, so it will be easy for you to look up the truth and call them and tell them where they are wrong. They'd appreciate the correction.

One fact you have wrong is that they only criticize Christians.

  • @TheHogTieChamp Years ago I did call in. But the local Austin group is normally very rude and up on a high horse. Instead of listining to my facts, they just talked over me, hung-up and re-twisted the facts again. Really the Austin Tx Atheist Experience show give a bad name for Atheist everywhere.

  • omg I saw shock of gods video about this. He made it seem like mat wants Christians to kill them selves. He showed only two seconds of this. God sog is so stupid. He shows like 5 seconds of a 4-9 min video and twist their words around. Facepalm!

  • @JolynnConley8 thats shockofgods thing, quote mining the hell out of folks :P

  • @JolynnConley8 And on top of that, he disabled ratings and comments, so no one can comment and let people know that he took it out of context.

shockofgod needs to find a hobby, and stop spending so much time trying to make atheists look bad.

  • @JolynnConley8 Indeed. Quote mining is a favorite past time of christians/creationist.

  • @JolynnConley8 A perfect example of how Christians only hear what they want to hear.

  • @JolynnConley8 Any account that disables ratings and comments is a dishonest account, and should be avoided. Where the fuck does he get the nerve to pretend what he says isn't total bullshit, and then blocks all discussion that would reveal this bullshit.

  • @JolynnConley8 hes a troll, he's blocked 3 of my accounts becuase i tried to debate issues he was talking about rather then saying "praise jesus im saved".

  • @madnesscombat5 He's blocked me, too

  • @JolynnConley8 Shock of God can only make his points through obvious, and intentional, lies. In all truth, Christianity can only exist within a system of lies, fear, and blind belief.

  • humanity is bound to our social genetics, you have none, Agnostics at least agree with the notion that there are things the human mind cannot comprehend, you seem to revel in what you have found to be not true in your mere 30, 40 years of life? pathetic if you ask me.

  • If Christianity let people suicide then it would be the easiest religion ever! so easy that it would have no followers.

  • lol meat-sack-machine

  • We all have the same senses, therefore atheists dont know anymore than the rest of us, just a fact.

  • @jurnagin Even if science can't answer everything, that doesn't mean some ridiculous book of fables is the answer. What kind of thinking is that ? At least scientists all always trying to test and disprove their own ideas and are perfect willing to accept that somthing is wrong in favor of a new idea. Unlike crust lovers who bury their heads in the sand and pretend men walked the earth with dinosuars or that they can talk to their imaginary friend in their head.

  • @jurnagin How the fuck can woman being made out of a rid be "scientificly proven". What are you 6 years old ?

  • @atheistrage it has a deeper meaning.

  • @denzielle20 Please be more specific. What has a "deeper meaning" ??

  • @atheistrage i dont want to spoil it for you. :) maybe some christian from your place may one day get a chance to share to you about it. but not just a christian, i mean a mature christian. i'll just pray for you.thats all i can do.

  • @denzielle20 Well, your not really spoiling anything for me. A lot of christians who feel compelled to proselytize seem to have this ignorant idea that they're sharing "the good news" for the first time. I think everyone who grew up in the US has heard about it their entire lives. There is nothing to "share" with me, I'm making an informed choice to reject christianity as the fiction. If it make you feel better, then go on and talk to your imaginary friend about me.

  • @atheistrage you will only hear the real idea of it when you are willing to know the word. thats why i told you, "mature christians". even in our place, everyone heard things about christ or God. our country is a christian country just like yours. its your choice, and i've got nothing to do with it. just remember sir, you havent heard the "deeper meaning", or realized it if your capable of understanding it alone. or just talk to the pure you sometimes. the deeper you. bye. Godbless.

  • @denzielle20 NO, America isn't a "chrstian nation". There are a lot of ingorant christians who enjoy promoting that false myth. But this country was actually founded on seperation of chruch and state. The fouding fathers were clear about that and most of then were actually free thinkers.

  • @denzielle20 As I've said, I have read a lot of the bible and am quite familiar with christian beliefs. I simply chose to reject it. Nor do I see any "deeper meaning". It sounds like you're encouraging me to pretend.

  • @atheistrage i dont think im encouraging you in any way,.are encouraged? which i think not.,, if i remember, i only tried to reply the way you did, only without adding any feeling of insult. its not my like to insult people, so im just telling you. going back to the point.. like said in my first comment, there is a "deeper meaning".

  • @atheistrage many people who have just gotten married or just had a child or just had a pet, or just started a diet feel like they are the first people to do this and feel the need to"share" Religion is not the main problem in the world, yes evil people use it, and yes annoying people use it, but they also use other things. Look how sickening couples who have just fallen in love can be. When one meets God they do feel like there whole life has changed and they do want to share it.

  • Haha hilarious, Matt ftw.

  • Why would you verbally encourage someone to commit suicide, your a sad little man hahaha

  • @MrReflexD He didn't encourage anybody to commit suicide. He showed that, given the premise that paradise awaits us after this life, it would make sense to commit suicide and get their sooner. Then he explains how religions, knowing this, have added caveats which make suicide untenable, like making it a sin, for example. This is a much more complex argument than you seem to have understood, and it's not in any way advocacy.

  • @MrReflexD He wasn't encouraging someone to commit suicide you moron. He even said don't do it. He was making a point that if this life means nothing to christians and that if its just the matt on which to wipe your feet before your soul goes to 'heaven' then technically you could kill yourself to get there quicker instead of wasting your time here. He wasn't actually advocating suicide you cretin.

  • They should kill themselves heaven is a better place to be and they get to meet god. So load up that pistol and get on with it Christians! God will forgive you :)

  • The Real question is, if Jesus christ WAS real, then why didn't he write the bible himself? WHy didn't he show his existance to everyone? WHy did he only appear in a small village conveniently during a time when there was no cameras and also when there where hundreds of messiah stories and new religions floating around? And why doesn't Jesus come here, on telivision and prove his existance and stop all the religious fighting? Occums razor says: Because he's obviously fake.

  • @addictasylum I'm an atheist. Although I do believe there was a man called Jesus I do not believe he was the son of god. Without using the bible (which I don't believe the stories in there anyway) how do you explain Jesus?

  • If there wasnt no god. how do you explain jesus christ? any answers!?!

  • @AddictAsylum Kid, there are no histoical records saying that Jesus CHrist ever existed. No boos or letters written by Jesus, no records in the Roman archive (which is weird, since their supposedly hated and killed Jesus), hell, even the biblical records of Jesus came 50 years after his alleged crucifiction. The prophet Jesus never existed. ANd even if he had, the explanation would be simple: Mary and Joseph had sex. Thats how babies are made :)

  • @AddictAsylum Troll.

  • @AddictAsylum Seriously? Your argument for
