In MMA when have you ever seen a Krav Maga champion? Infact KM instructors advocate training in other MAs too, particularly MMA, Judo and boxing/kick Boxing. Not everyone has 40 hours a week spare to become a career martial artist, or want to train to fight against a professional fighter, they just want to be able to survive an attack on the streets, and thats what krav does.

ur sword will always be better than the stick. the same reason why arnis was conceptualized to use sticks as practice tools instead of the real sword/bolo/dagger. just like a bokken for ur sword.
