  • now how do you make the voices and keep them in sync with the actions and the characters itself? btw: your vids are really funny!

  • that looks tiring because you have to keep moving the character and taking pics over and over again until the clip is over! this vid also answers one of my questions on your other tutorial vid! thanks!!!

  • thanks!!!

  • 1 minute to make 1 second O_o

  • This looks very boring to do the same step, I would like to ask a question, How many hours/minutes does it take to make a lego movie?

  • @kabahaly depends on how long the video is and at what frame rate... just sayin...

  • 0:01 your welcome

  • THANK YOU!!!! now i can do some stop motions!!!!

  • fps?

  • dude i use a 8 megapixels digital camera although the lego face is dark and not in "high quality" you can't even see the eyes of the figure... i heard you have to use alot of lighting so the camera can capture all the details... is that true and any other advices?

  • @gclaws it depends how to long u want 4 mine that I'm working on I have 40 seconds and I've been working 2 days so.....

  • Thanks, i new how to make everything move, but i didn't know that u put a LEGO stud in between to make the LEGO people run.

  • Thats pretty cool. I got a question tho. How long does it take you to make a full video???

  • make like 5 times more pictures then u did and u can make him run faster and more realistic more alive :P good vid

  • are you Russian? Or British because if you were that would be sweeeeet!!!!

  • hmm

  • Have you got windows vista or windows XP /?

  • i use the same method for walking but with 2 pic of him standing

  • great

  • It does look like walking. The problem is you need to make him lean a little bit and his arms don't swing enough.

  • cool

  • cool

  • ALT?

  • @SMOKINFIRE88 it means alternative

  • Then you have a strange way of walking.

  • @blobstudios How do you make your lego move, im really curious please put a video about that

  • @blobstudios isnt he you?

  • @blobstudios cuss he is scotish like me

  • @blobstudios he is scottish like me

  • I actually agree with you there, it really looks like walking..

  • @Mycelman1 i guess but maybe if he played it faster

  • good work...please check out my vids ! i am working on a monster stopmotion projekt....................

  • nice and how short should u make the clips?

  • hey can you please help me,

i dont really understand what you mean why fifteen frames per second?

    can some one explain?

  • 15fps means there are 15 pictures in one second of animation. A frame is just one picture of the animation.

  • He means 15 photos taken in every second.

  • Awesome, this really helped!

  • coo. but my minifig had problems with the balancing when the studs in between the legs. cool tutorial though

  • thanks i always had probs with that

  • Thank you 5/5

  • way to slow

  • awesome!

    Thanks

  • looks more like walking

  • @Jordy5234 Fast walking

  • how do u run at 15 fps? i know how to go 8,but not 15

  • @RAB217 I presume your using Windows Movie Maker. Don't use Windows Movie Maker use a frame capture program like MonkeyJam. In those you can choose your frame rate.

  • you can speed the frames to 15 fps.

  • thanks man=)

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!! =D

  • thnx very helpful

  • Thankyou this will be very helpfull. :)

  • i do that with cartoons without you

  • cool

  • what did u use for that blue cloudish background

  • he mighta used a greenscreen. plz dont ask me what that is or how to do it

  • no i know wat it is, now please allow me to search through the comments to see what i said.

  • Oh my gosh, thank you, I needed this ^_^

  • Hey thanks for the tutorial! I really needed a running cycle for the new film i'm doing!

  • What did madaboutlego101 say???

  • Thanks a lot for this :)

  • how do you get 15fps? 0,15 second pictures?

  • No, 0.07 seconds for 15fps or use a software like monkeyjam and it will make it 15fps for you.

  • Where in Scotland are you from? I was born in Inverness and I lived in Ayrshire but my family is from the Outer Hebridees and now I live in the Bahamas. PLEASE reply.

  • I live in Penicuik, a small town near Edinburgh

  • Thanks! Thats really helpful.

  • Hey blobstudioALT,why not make a video on how to do the voice(s)

  • similar to walking

  • How do you put pictures together to make a video?

  • windows movie maker

  • that's the basics of stop motion, you just need to learn how to use an editor

  • @blobstudiosALTwhat editor do u use?

i need a good editor couse windows movie maker sucks

do you now a good free editor?

  • Wow, I never saw this before. But I releized that this is that exactly the same way I animate minifigures.

  • I thought you had to make a bunch of videos no take pictures. Thanks you are very helpful! Do you use a special camera or something because the videos you have on your blobstudios account are really good.

  • any camera can be used, I use a webcamera

  • @blobstudiosALT you should have made the minifigure lean forward because most people tend to lean forward to run forward.

  • Thanks =D very helpfull

  • Thanks, that was really helpful.

  • Hi blobstudiosALT,

I'm using Windows Movie Maker too! But, when i'm trying to import a picture, everything freezes. Please Reply!

  • That's just a problem with WMM, it happens to a lot of people, I just recommend not using it, find another editing program.

  • That happens sometimes, but it should unfreeze in a few minutes.

  • I left it for 2 hours. Nothing happened.

  • Well you see, there are different kinds of freezes. x) Windows Movie maker is a pain when it comes to that!

  • lol same here

  • this really helped 5/5!

  • awesome tutorial, and now i know how to use the 15 photo thing, but can you please tell me where to get it!!?? I swear I've been looking for a stop animation system for months, in fact, I've been looking since summer, last year!!!!. please tell, I'm very angry at myself cus i can't find it and i really want to!!!!!!

    P.S. PLEASE!!! I'm really curious!!!!!!

P.S.S. Sorry if I was rude.

    P.S.S.S. Sorry.... PLEASE!

  • i use windows movie maker

  • use monkeyjam

  • There are lots of stop motion animating programs, try MonkeyJam or something like that, then all you need is an editor like WMM.

  • @TheLegoCloneTrooper what blob said, monkey jam is excellent for making the videos but not editing, WMM is not good at making the movie but editing it. i have both and i am working on making videos. hope it helped

  • @TheLegoCloneTrooper Animation DV simple + is what I use

  • Cool! 5*! I like it.

  • great tutorial! I like the cloud backdrop too! ;)

  • Thanks Tom

  • very proffesional

  • can u make one on how o make the vehicles move?

  • I don't need to make that, it's pretty much one of the easiest things to animate and all you have to do is move it and take pictures

  • awesome

  • thanks that helped a lot cuz i was working on a run cycle!

  • nice

  • thanks
