  • Dawkins tells it like it is, gotta love him!

  • "I didnt realize my relitives were bacteria..."

    well... it's... it's a start... -.>;

  • Seeing these kids have their interest in science re-kindled drastically replenishes my faith for humanity! XD

  • Great series. Great admirer of Dawkins.

It used to affect me to see blindmindedness in light of evidence. But I understand people are simply protecting beliefs they have been taught which they are not expert in. We all do it.

Evolution seems to be a sound science. I'm no expert but Dawkins is. I'm happy to take his word for it. It in no way discredits inteligent design so it works for me. Might upset some creationists but it does not contravene pure religion, undefiled. It's truth.

  • Why couldn't' have Richard Dawkins come to my school to teach science! That would have been awesome. Instead I got retarded creationism crammed down my throat. Luckily reason prevailed.

  • "I, actually, didn't realize that, um, my ancestors were bacteria. . ." XD

  • Some people may know his wife as the second regeneration of the Time Lady Romana. :D

  • Those kids are about my age or younger.

  • i just realized those kids are older than me. i was 4 when this came out :)

  • What a great science teacher! :)

  • What a great science teacher! :)

  • We should totally clone R.D. and send him to every school in the world and solve this corruption problem.

  • Wow. I didn't know he was married to romana!

  • haha look at Dawkins pimpin in the gondola

  • I feel so dumb I didn't realize we've only been around for a blink of an eye.

  • @7891midnight Not only that, but compared to the universe, we're so small we practically don't even exist. It's quite amazing. :)

  • Dawkins has a wife....a pretty intellectual wife...that's so depressing.

  • wow, it was great to see those kids listening so intently and soaking up truth as opposed to the usual brainwashing they are (and we were) so often subjected to.

  • I would love to hear what Dawkins would say about video games like Spore. I'm willing to bet he would love it if he doesn't already.

  • @losghost lol i said exactly the same thing on another of these videos. I bet he'd be good at it, I suck at Spore, it would be cool to get Dawkins round my house and help me out with it XD

  • Poor kids

  • I knew Douglas Adams was dead...but, I didn't know he died so young.

    Stupid universe.

  • I wish dawkins was my science teacher when I was in school

  • That music that starts at 6:02 was kinda spooky. Odd.

Haha, my relatives were bacteria. Some of our relatives are.

  • Wonderful wonderful! Beautiful! This series really 'got thru' to me on a level beyond intellectual interest & comprehension. Feels amazing & now I'll go re-view a few of the series for a second time, with clarified perspective. Thank you dawkinschannel, sooo much! You're a New Light! ^_~\\

  • Dawkins is a Time Lord! :D

  • Oligokyphus...Ipswich. Yay! Ipswich gets a mention.

  • I'm terrified that this video has less than 8000 views...

  • @WCdragoninja I agree, I think everyone needs to watch "Breaking the Science Barrier."

  • Let's have a girl for Jesus Christ...Dawkins, you did that on purpose.

  • "It's something I share with my wife, Lalla Ward." *brain exploding*

  • When I was 5 years old, I thought the human race began in the 1950's. I'm dead-serious.

  • RIP Douglas Adams

  • LOL Dawkins converted the children... parents aren't gonna be happy.

  • @DaGavinX converted the children to science? hehe

  • I'd love a wife like that..

  • he shouldve invented an imaginary child named "invisible" to be jesus christ lol

  • hmm who would i want to teach my class more sagan or dawkins?

  • @WheelLock I'd prefer Dawkins since he's not dead.

  • @WheelLock How about both at the same time!!

  • Two people couldn't find this in their bibles.

  • if only i had a teacher like Dawkins, i wouldnt be a lawyer lol

  • The difference between me and the kid (besides a couple decades) is that I do realize that some of my relatives are bacteria.

  • I want him as my teacher!

  • I wish he comes to my high school.

  • wow Lala Ward.Top Doctor Who totty.

  • I didn't have lessons as cool as that :(

  • thats awesome.. a very informing doco

  • 5:42

My goodness, that little girl is so intelligent and precocious.

  • Yay! All six videos watched. The kids were great. I think it seems obvious but I have to say that kids in America are pretty screwed if we don't step up the education system pretty quick. Dawkins for President!

  • Those deluded hedonistic children! ^_^

  • @fetalbetal hedonistic? where on earth do you get that idea?

  • Why Couldn't i have a professor like Mr Dawkins T.T? He's so awesome=O.

  • Richard Dawkins is a genius.

  • wish richard was teaching my kids.

  • Good kids, since this doc was made in 1996, i hope those kids are now prominent people!!

  • Great vids as always with R. Dawkins.

If only more people would watch it... I can't believe there are still morons who can even argue with so many evidences and facts.

Arrrghhh.... It bugs me! I wonder if Dawkins has ever punched somebody on the nose for being so stupid.

I wouldn't resist.... in front of so much dumbness.

    Well, long live science!!!!

  • lol "let's have a girl for jesus christ" :)

  • lolol that cracked me up.

  • @danmanwv I'm sure Jesus would have said the same thing.

  • i miss douglas adams work :(

  • I made it! I watched all 6 videos, and as usual, good stuff.

  • I didn't know he was married to Romana from Dr Who...

  • HAHA. The kids were so funny.

    "Off you go!"

  • i didn`t know dawkins was married... fuck );

  • I'm sorry for you. :-)

  • @dawkinschannel hope your kids follow your foot step and continu the battle breaking the barrier of science vs religion and myth

  • @dawkinschannel i know this isn't a reply to your comment but i just wanted to make sure you read this: thank you so much for uploading these, i used to be a pretty serious christian but i'm not to blockheaded to admit i was wrong and dawkins helped me ALOT in this. and now i proudly call myself an atheist and ever since i apreciate life a lot more because i know it isn't endles but limited, that motivates me to moke the most of it. again thanks and i'm sorry if i wasted your time :p

  • @unkaodya haha.. im a straight guy and i agree! :P

  • @unkaodya

of course he is married do u think he still single ?

    waiting 4 wt? death

  • @alsadeg111222 i dunno. i`m not sitting inside his head. tho it would be awesome and very informative probably.

  • @unkaodya I truly understand how you feel.. Bummer.

  • @unkaodya And she's a time lord, I mean, what could be cooler?

  • It's wonderful to see Douglas Adams again. Thx

  • Do a video on the evolution of hairless taints for humans and how it is the next stage in the evolutionary characteristics and phenotypes of the homo sapien genome. Please?

  • He cultivated his intelligence, and obviously loved being alive and likewise inspired love from his family, friends and admirers giving them his attention undivided from absurdities like faith.

The only sadness is that they will miss him profoundly although i'm sure they feel enriched beyond measure to have known him. (if you ever hear Richard Dawkins or Lalla Ward talk about their friend you will see).

'That it will never come again is what makes life sweet. ' ... Emily Dickinson.

  • it was so sad when Douglas Adams talked about enjoying the marvels of the universe and our time in it only being about 70,80. He actually died when he was 42.

  • 49*

  • Thank you very much indeed for that correction! Of course 42 is another story ;) and i would have gone with that like forever.

And apologies to anyone who has been misled: hopefully this will teach me to be more precise in future. (Looked it up in Wikipaedia this time and it has it as 11 March 1952 11 May 2001).

  • Hey, no worries :)

  • @intermender now that would bee too much of a coincidence don't you think? :) he died when he was 49

  • @sondano yes, apologies, it definently was a silly mistake by me.

  • dawkins seems cooler and cooler the more i learn about him

  • Gawd created the universe solely for mankind.

Mankind's existence is less than a fingernail scraping.

I report, you decide. Ummm, but I have to constrain you to reality in your answer.

  • I think those children interviewed are very cute. :)

  • Thanks for sharing!
