I am a strong Democrat, but I will not deny that Gore acted like a jackass during his campaign. He actually thought Clinton's scandal was a liability to him, and it most certainly wasn't. Clinton remained very popular in the Gallup Poll throughout basically the remainder of his Presidency. The Democrats gained more Congressional seats in the 2000 elections, yet Gore's stupidity could not give us a Democratic President. Lieberman was also a stupid choice for Vice-President too,
