@elenimoxart There is quite some shedding of those long hairs, but they have no undercoat for the fluffy/clump type of shedding. Poodles and Havanese don't shed much at all.

Beamer made 4 on 12/1/10. He is my BABY!! Yep, he's a tail wagger and a licker...we'd like to break the licking part, but a firm "No," usually ends it..........for about 3 minutes! LOL!!

its not common for little dogs to express dominance, because humans are more likely to "baby" them because of their small stature.

If you saw a Ovcharka and a Yorkie together, more people would gravitate to the yorkie because its "cuter" even if it is agressive and disrespectful and the Ovcharka is house trained and friendly towards strangers.

The order in which they came into the house has a lot to do with our situation as well. The little ones were here first, then the Cur, then the Golden. And the dogs very much display pack order as the Golden is the lowest on the todem pole....and the 3 above don't let her forget it. She knows though what she can and can't do and accepts her place within the pack.

Yep. They are spoiled! They were all bathed and sprayed with dog cologne today. Yeah....they hate it!!

When spring rolls around, the Golden is about to spend the whole day at the groomers getting furminated with a product called the Furminator! It works wonders!! No loose hair for weeks!!

The Chihuahua is the oldest (5), then the cur/pit mix (2), then the Papillion (2), and the Golden Retriever is the youngest (1).

Beamer rules this roost where the dogs are concerned!! The large dogs are back away when he gets mad at them or they get too rough with him.  He really attacks them when he is tired of their foolishness! I am uploading one more where the big ones are roughing it up in the background!
