Thanks for posting! Weird to see what it has become...you can see it in its' prime in a three part tour, with Dixie (Dixie Evan Exotic World pt 1 through 4 3 Oct 29 1998), on my channel. There you see that the storage are, what seemed like a church to you, was in fact the museum area...

the first building was the home. The second buildings were the museum not the guest quarters. It was not a church. The third building was the hall.
