My Dad took me this game, I was in 9th grade, I remember Alabama pushing coach Paul "Bear" Bryant out to the sidelines in a wheelchair. I still have the ticket stubs.

Alabama and Texas for the national championship in 2009. Man, it doesn't get any better than that. 2 of the greatest traditions in college football history.

Texas had 7 players go into the NFL off that team. I was 12 yrs and at the Cotton Bowl. Alabama has never beaten Texas in football.

That texas team on D was great. They held SMU to crossing midfeild only twice when they played. SMU scored their only TD on a lucky bomb in the 3rd quarter.

I was there too. It was my last year in the band at UT. Having been born in Alabama it was a special game. Seeing "The Bear" was incredible.

I went to this game and remember this play well. It turned the game completely around and UT was able to tree "the Bear" once again.
