  • I prefer more classical jazz tunes, mostly listening to them, but I love this tune. The phrase at 2:05-2:08 is fantastic. I listened it again and again like an idiot, but I am still not bored.

  • OOh I heard Eddie Harris sneak through there for a second.

  • Fabulous stuff. Just had to make me track down a copy of the cd.

  • I am retarded and I resent that remark.

    vids or it didn't happen.

  • @Fred1102

So what if it's easy? Music isn't about how difficulty

  • @kingjaron123 To play this tune like this is extremely difficult. Music can be about dificulty. It shouldn't be the only aspect of it though.

  • @TomasMikaX

I didn't mean that music can't be about difficulty, I just hate how people criticize music for being "easy to play". I don't like people attacking music for being "too complex" either

  • @kingjaron123 It might be easy to hit the notes, but to play a song properly is never easy.

  • simply more than awesome...

  • Simple can be genius

  • Fabulous.

    Just that.

  • esta muy bueno el ritmo fantaastico ¡¡¡¡

    :)

  • Fabulous ....it's great to see this on Youtube..it's my favorite Wayne shorter album...This is pure classy jazz like..a classic late 60's blue note !! THANK YOU SO MUCH Jazzlover 7! U add some sweetness here!!

  • I love how someone shouts during minute 6:12. Thanks for sharing this with us. This is what real music is. Music you can feel and experience. Shorter is an amazing composer! He is absolutely brilliant.

  • thanks for posting this cut,now post some more cuts from this lp. thank you.

    Hafeez

  • Yeah music ... rhythm, great melody ... dancing and celebrating LIFE! Wake up and live!

  • when shorter and hancock play together it was always excellent, even now. a couple of the last great jazz juggernauts left from the davis era, i couldn't reccomend going to see either enough if you get a chance.

  • Shorter pays tribute to blue note with a boogaloo as first track;but this is so personally that doesn't seem the same boogaloo stuffo from those years. This album is great.Note the magnificent cymbal work from Joe Chambers!!!

  • Thanks for this stuff, man!

  • Shorter wrote the coolest shit back then.....

  • Thanks for posting.
