  • Probably the rare Morrissey solo take on a 'Smiths' track that resonates well in its own right - perhaps because the tempo is kept roughly similar to the original (a little faster, it seems).

  • I agree, they (the band) usually don't quite get it right with Smiths songs. They fail to catch either the intricacies or the emotion. But here they nail it perfectly. Its so difficult to get the right timing of the opening guitar line right after the deadened C#m strumming (0:20)... He got it perfectly.

    Boz and Alain have always struggled with the Vini Reilly solo stuff as well.. They changed Everday/Suedehead into Rockabilly stomps..
