I agree with the uploader, Port of Adia and River of Souls were awesome, but then it got insane. Even with all cheats enabled it was ridiculous. Great game though.

So valuable, I wouldn't sell my copy of the game on the open market if it were to fetch me all the money and beer in the world.
@oregonflatland There were many ammo respawn points and they gave you the option to refill all ammo once per level. I think they wanted you not to miss half your shots and actually have skill, because we all know it was somewhat hard to aim in all the turoks. Both of them were great games in my opinion. Just because a game is hard doesnt mean it's bad/ way better
ammo respawn points in turok 1? i don't remember that at all. but since i made that comment i've now made it all the way through turok 2 as well and i am totally convinced that turok 1 is superior, especially the control. i went back and played some turok 1 again just to be sure. i don't think the cerebral bore automatically makes turok 2 the best, especially since that weapon wasn't all that useful, just cool effect. now i'm looking forward to playing turok 3.
ha ha right. i just defeated the primagen last week. didn't use any cheats. the ending was seriously lame. having to go back through level 5 about 4 different times was the hard part. level 6 was easy in comparison.

@DrNo0Entertainment1 I dunno, man. It seems so campy now. Not that that's a bad thing but big guns and gore only go so far (sorry, last one I owned/played was Evolution). I'm all for more FPSs with dinosaurs but I think that Turok might be one of those series that just has to be taken care of Old Yeller style.

This was a really good game. The only thing I hated was The River of Souls, but it made you play longer, which was really cool. It's satisfying to blow up the heads of them dinosaur hybrids!
LOVED (and beat) all of the TUROK games for the good old 64 and Turok 2 was probably THE most fun of them all. CEREBRAL BORE arguably THE greatest single FPS weapon of all time....lol!
as for turok 2. wow, what an epic game. considering in was made over 10 years ago, it's a fucking cracker. unlike most of todays games, it was a massive challenge to complete.
i also liked turok 1, but the controlls were vile. turok 2 was the best by far.

It sucks ass that they didn't make the frame rate better. I swear to god how many head shots I missed in the game were due to the frame rate idles are that of the amount of stars in the sky. I'm still a bigger fan of Turok original though.

@Talloweed Absolutely! I still think the graphics look good to this day. Of course it doesn't compare to games today, but for the time it looked nice. More importantly, it's a fun game.
Turok 2 managed to make a good single player experience, if they'd taken a few minutes to toss in Co-op the game would've been much better and excused the multiplayer failure.
This game was awesome! At first I didn't want to play it because I played the Game Boy version, which sucked, but then I played it and said, "Holy crap! This is good!" This game was really hard though and I didn't want to use bewareoblivionisathand.
n64 is a good console what i cant beleive is that they brought out n64 and with loads of 3d games (great) and then ps1 came out with only 2d games this proves nintendo have dorry had a better start at winning every1 over to they consoles

Man this game and the first one are two of my favorite games ever. Other fps games need to start creating more dynamic weapons like this one had. And the weapon selection wheel was perfect IMO.

I bought Turok 2 as soon as it came out. $60 took me forever to save up as a kid but it was totally worth it. I still have it and enjoy it. I'd say it's worth $3.99 and is definitely a must have if you like fps.

Turok 2 was everything the first game was and way more. It was exactly how the first game should have been made, except in a sequel. 0x better then the first game and extremely fun. Who doesn't like gibifying anthropomorphic dinosaurs and using the cerebral bore on massive enemies.

This game was awesome! At first I didn't want to play it because I played the Game Boy version, which sucked, but then I played it and said, "Holy crap! This is good!" This game was really hard though and I didn't want to use bewareoblivionisathand.

i know you said besides ebay, but it's the best way to find the games you are looking for. flea markets have such a small chance of even having games this old...and even a smaller chance of having the specific one you want.

Man this game and the first one are two of my favorite games ever. Other fps games need to start creating more dynamic weapons like this one had. And the weapon selection wheel was perfect IMO.

I bought Turok 2 as soon as it came out. $60 took me forever to save up as a kid but it was totally worth it. I still have it and enjoy it. I'd say it's worth $3.99 and is definitely a must have if you like fps.

yeah I went and got it today for the low price of 3.99........I like it so far, I just dont like the n64 controller for fps lol. But im working on getting adjusted to it. I must say its great for how old it is, great looking, great weapon, and BLOOD in a game on a nintendo system! lol.

Turok 2 was everything the first game was and way more. It was exactly how the first game should have been made, except in a sequel. 0x better then the first game and extremely fun. Who doesn't like gibifying anthropomorphic dinosaurs and using the cerebral bore on massive enemies.
