I got two questions....what is the body of that bass made of? It's a work of art, which brings me to the second question, ART Tube Pac: I am considering one, it would be partially a front-end for a bass DI setup, but for the most part, it would be replacing my Tube MP and digital comp. for recording vocals. The volume of my voice changes drastically in some songs, so I need TOTAL compression to where a scream and a whisper would be the exact same decibel level. Can it do that? With warmth?

@punkeratheart The body is mahogany with a burled maple top. The tubepac has two comp ratios comp is 2.3/1 and limit is 6/1. The tubepac is more of a simple set it- forget it type comp. They have a channel strip called the pro channel that is more adjustable for studio vocal use which I will probably get, but I like the simplicity of the tubepac for bass.
