I did expect some originality from him this time. What's the point of having a theme on ludum dare if you're just remaking your own game? It even makes me wonder if he'll develop nanocraft for the next ludum dare...

Anthony, I'd say that 2D Minecraft = Terraria. Minicraft was cool for about 30 minutes, but became boring rather quickly. I'd recommend trying "Last Breath" (from Sebastien Benard, the guy that made "Appy 1000mg"), "Craequ" and "Abandoned" from Ludum Dare 22.

I like the idea of Minecraft a lot, but I've had a million times more fun with Terraria. I just always get stuck not knowing what to do in Minecraft, and by the time I've finished reading up on how to do something, I've lost interest. Terraria is accessible enough to be fun without interruption, and complex enough to be engaging for a long time. I hope Minecraft moves toward the former a bit.

@BoykinMusic I think it's okay. It was an interesting take on Minecraft and you can tell a lot of work was put into it. Mike Rose from the indiegames blog wrote a review that's almost exactly my view on it - you should check it out!

@hoptop77 Hey, I'm not 15 anymore (haven't been in a while, actually :D) and I'd really like to watch a show made by such beautiful ladies as Tara Long and Bob Suicide. Heck, why not make a female-only gaming show, adding the likes of Lizzie Cuevas and Jackie Talbott, too. They are all strongly opinionated ladies, which would add a unique perspective to such a show. It would be a welcome departure from the usual male-centric vision.
