Nice video! I really recommend getting REX clouds! Believe it or not it actually improves youre frames and makes the clouds real world and fixes youre water to real world like water if it was real water and makes youre runways and taxiways look unbelieveable! I really extremely recommend it!

Download and install FSCopilot (it's free) and then check out the GPWS tab in the menu. :)

@erks56 you have to start out in 2d instead in vc on level d 767 to get gpws to work so change the setting before u fly in the main menu

some FS planes have it with them. (many payware do) It's automatic. When you come into that distance on landing, it'll happen.

If you want to add the altitude callouts to any aircraft, just download PM Sounds and run it while FSX is open. The callouts will happen automatically.

no offense dude, but no, you can´t. I have asked a pilot about this. He said it´s similar, but in the real life there are a LOT of procedures that arent implemented in the game. The game is a over'simplified simulator

Maybe with large aircrafts, but in my introductory flight towards a private pilots license, the instructor let me fly the full flight including takeoff and landing.

well, of course its a little oversimplified; this is not for pilots, it's for people like us. But the main difference is the CDU, because MS did not have the time or the resources to add that in.

well, I sim Boeing 737-900ER from Ariane (really sophisticated add on). I was in June this year in a full motion simulator 737-500 in Prague (for ATPL pilots, operated by CSA) and I landed with the simulator with no problems even with crosswind four times. You can see my video here. I agree with you that the FSX may not give you the absolutely every situation which could occur but it helps a lot. The instructor was surprised.

Level D is the plane. It is a Boeing 767-300 payware addon for FSX.

Nope! It is a great payware aircraft for both FS9 and FSX that doesn't slow down the framerate on your game... plus it has tons of repaints to download and a very detailed FMC. I recommend it!
