Bear, I like your talk, but... I notice all the complex histories you mention (eg, Stanton) are mtf while you and your partner are ftm. Maybe... just maybe, mtfs have a LOT harder time transitioning in this society and it's considered more transgressive (not a pun) than ftms. Is that possible. That as a female assigned person, you have more entitlement to flexibility of gender expression than male assigned people. Some of us ARE pathetic and still demand rights, sex and cute lingerie.
