I watched this video when I was 18 weeks gone, yesterday we went for our ultrasound at 21 weeks and we discovered that we are having twins! a girl and a boy, its the most fantastic surprise I have ever had in my life, talk about a shock : )

I realize this is an older video, but I was hoping you'd answer me this- did you have the first ultrasound really early on, and then not have another one until the 18 week scan? I had my first scan at 10 weeks, and they said there is only one. Haven't had another one since, but I'm having my 18 week scan tomorrow. How exciting to find out at that scan that there are two!

Congratulations! I have a feeling i'm going to have a suprise twin ultrasound myself. i keep thinking im having twins, and the doctor only keeps finding one heartbeat, but doesnt even check for a second heartbeat because my only ultrasound i had was at 8 weeks pregnant and they only saw 1 baby in the ultrasound. It's driving me nuts. I have my 20 week ultrasound Nov 17, 2011.

Ya'll had me rolling on the floor!! I'm pregnant with my 5th baby - first boy and I swear the ultrasound tech at 15 wks missed a twin. I have the dvd and I swear you can see a baby to the side with the seperate sack. It was the ladies first day. I'm measuring 7 wks ahead and my midwife hears 2 heartbeats one right below my ribs and one right down by pelvic bone. She is sending me for another one this weekend. You all are soooo cute! Huge congrats. Gotta have my husband listen to this :D

Oh no! Lol April 12th is my 18th week ultrasound, lol and when you said that they only saw 1 baby at 8 weeks and only one heartbeat but that you popped out fast...it's just like me. I have ppl I don't even know falling over when I tell them I'm only 17 weeks, because my belly is huge!! I was healthy and slim before and now, I feel huge for 17 weeks so when the 12th comes I'm gonna pass out if I have twins!!!! I'm so happy for you guys but now, I am scared.

It's weird to hear people talking about how much an ultrasound scan costs - we don't have to pay for healthcare as such in the UK. You shouldn't have to pay to make sure your baby is growing normally.

Wow! I really know how you guys feel. You see, when I was fourteen, my doctor told me that I couldn't have any children. Well, now I'm seventeen, but earlier this year I found out I was pregnant.
