The Quo get unfair stick from all sorts of people, all entitled to their own opinion of course.

IMHO the Quo wrote the rule book when it comes to doing a show and rocking the very walls of the building. A lot of bands have tried to be them - but only the Quo can transmit that energy.

It has been a priviledge to have seen them live.

Both Rossi and Parfitt's main guitars are original 1950's fender Telecasters. Both are thrashed to hell 'specially Parfitt's but the sound that the produce is unique. Fender brought out replicas in the 1990's - Rossi's even has the hole in it that he drilled to thread his amp cable through. Rossie sometimes plays one of the copies in gigs but to my mid it doesn't look or sound the same as the original.
