@angel15skater dudeeeee on the three windows there are faces man!!! specially the bottom window in the middle u can see a man wearing some sord of pirate hat. he dont look scary or nothing just looks sad or like he dont wanna b bothered thats spooky dude
@ganthonyvr dude the two top windows the faces look mean and ugly unlike the face on the bottom window. and on the top windows there seem to be like 4 faces 2 on each window
i bet that this house was a beautiful house 100 or 80 years ago if i was a milidair or barack obama i would buy that house and buy that ground i i would build there a great nice village! i love that house so hard! its too beautiful....
@spvline1 - No, I was serious about the video and how everything was done - I loved it, but can appreciate your attitude about "working on it"! Checked out the site - more great stuff! Keep it coming!!
@teresacantrell I guess you can. I've been to the house numerous times but have yet to have anything strange happen. Perhaps the faces are shapes from the plaster on the ceiling. Or perhaps more?
how long ago was this house built? the house i am CURRENTLY living in is 120 years old. it only costed me $15,000. although, i had to get new windows & the back doorway's roof is a balcony & is caving in. I recently redid the pantry beacuse it was hideously pink & white.
Hi, I think the house is only about 95 years old I think, could be older or younger. From what I was told it was abandoned in the late 60's early 70's. Your place sounds fantastic. I'd like to own something like that someday. For now my condo in busy downtown Calgary will have to do.
@mazzkiller2 Ya it's in Alberta. Apprehensive to hand out locations though. Farmers get upset and end up tearing them down. Best advice is to look way SE of Edmonton. Happy hunting :)
@asecondaryhighway have you ever been in or around tofeild i was there a few nights ago and it seemed every few kilometres there was and abandoned house or barn lots of them were pretty run down thou
@mazzkiller2 ya I have been up there, but I need to explore it more. I head south of Calgary for the most part. I think my next little adventure will be up there for sure.
@metersocket00 It seemed to me at first it didn't but was then added in the late 40's. You can still see the hard wiring but it's not concealed. The power box was on the outside wall of the house.
No electricity. It's called a long exposure. I activate the camera so the lens remains open. I enter the house with a flash light and light the house up. The light is then registered by the sensor in the camera and it kind of acts like paint.
I live in the states. An hour from pittsburgh in pennsylvania. Once I walked thru an old home. I danced in it by myself. I'm going to wear a black dress from the 1800s and show myself dancing in an abandoned house with living dead girl song playing. Ill put it on you tube. Thanx humans. Are more pretty as independents as adepts sages and luminary. Abandonment is beautiful not awful as society tells us nice video
Ahh, Pennsylvania. I was raised in a cemetery there. We had more dead folk where I am from than living people. Truthfully speaking, I'd bet the entire state's that way. We had abandoned mansions from the 1800's, abandoned cemeteries and abandoned churches. Nice place. I miss it.
Umm can u post where is? I am drawn to anything abandoned. I grew up somewhat rich and I ended up having a boyfriend who was poor. The first time I saw a rusty fence with some flowers around it I thought how beautiful. I photoed it .I am somewhat poor now but rich mentally as I read 5 books a week and hang out in old cemetarys. I feel safe around abandoned places and cemetarys. Well nice vid. It was pretty but sad
The house is in Alberta, Canada. Not too sure where you are but there are hundreds of old places like this around. But they are dying fast. Farmers are tearing them down and vandals are looting them. Yes, very sad indeed.
Hi, Tell me what do you know about the historic dates of these building and how the materials for construction were transported out into the middle of no where? The climate is obviously harsh, I imagine sourcing food, even wood could be difficult for survival. I have many more questions plz reply.
What an honor it must of been to be able to go inside and step back into history. To go inside an old victorian home had always been a dream of mine. I finally got the chance to do so it's a home that a friend is restoring built in the mid 1800's. It is part of the historical society so it can't have any modern day fivtures on the outside. It sits right smack in the middle of downtown it is sooo beautiful.
I interviewed the now 91 year old woman who used grew up in the house. She is the baby in the photo at the end. She was upset discussing some of the things that went on in the house. Her father was a cruel person. He ended up sending his wife to the near by mental institute where she later died of diphtheria. The little boy in the photo died of diphtheria also at the age of 11, not too long after that photo was taken. His father made him tend to the horses on a cold night and came ill.
Hi, I am interested in the photography verses film that you use. I notice you direct your enterances and exits, with a camera on a tripod. So what do you do just go back and collect it once you have the shot, people watching must think your completely barking! I think you have the best job in the world, can I ride with you this weekend?
* * * * * Interesting and Scary! Sad story... but I often see old houses like this and can picture the chain saw murders that might have taken place, so seeing a "live person" exploring carefully without getting hurt, in spite of the bird or bat flying out was very reassuring. Along with the original inhabitants photo. Great video, especially the long range and night time shots. Hope you post more.
Believe it or not I actually tracked down the little baby who sits on the moms lap. She's now in her 90's and blind but still sane. The mother died of Diphtheria in a mental institute. She was put there by the abusive father. Very interesting story.
This was a good video. Music added a lot. What's the story with the family? Thanks for posting.
