I just watch Driving Lesson's starring Rupert Grint and Julie Winters in a scene were Rupert's character is in Edinburgh he goes into a club where Salsa Celticas playing. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, Bagpipes of scotland, fife and drum, the bango, salsa trumpets, the guiro, timbales, and the cowbell in a harmonious mixture of inspiring music. Bravo Salsa Celtica, Bravo. Muchas Gracia y sigue adelante!!!!

I'm a Scot who learned salsa in England and now teaches it in Perú and a Colombian friend told me about this group.

Proving that although Salsa originated in Cuba it is now truly international.

The guy made a mistake. Salsa is Puerto Rican, no Cuban. Its been recently confirmed by the movie El Cantante.

Willie, suggest you get your facts right. Salsa originates from a blend of other rhythms, including Cuban son music, and continues to evolve. In terms of the dancing, Cuban, LA, and New York (on 2) are just some of the recognised dance styles, just as Puerto Rican salsa is one of the recognised musical styles.

Just lighten up and enjoy the music!!!
