Could you by any chance ask Vechs if he has placed spawners in the walls for the different areas? It seems as no matter how much I dig out and light up, I can't find the spawners and they keep on spawning.. :S

In a corner of the VM room there should be a sign that says 'dig'. You can acces the VM easier by making a stair there as it goes right outside. No more of those cute vines in your path that way tho I know that your path took some time to build. Also, did you get the chest from the back of those spawners?

I love the vines everywhere in this map! Where it got in the way at the Victory Monument, I gravel pillared to the ceiling and cut it off, but not directly over the monument. I covered that with half slabs, so the vines could still grow but wouldn't cover the front.

I like the vines. It makes you feel like you are the first person to return after the Earth has died, which in fact Notch has intened for minecraft to be and Vech brings the hostile needed for the beyond the end of the world. Endermen is a word meaning the End of humanity in Notch's laguage. search it if you don't believe me.

I kinda wish that you would tunnel less. The map is pretty easy, so I don't know that it is really necessary.

I don't know why everyone hates on the vines so much. I thought it was awesome having them all over, particularly covering the victory monument - really makes it feel like finding a ruin. They get in the way of combat, but whatever. The aesthetic is more important to me.

Poor Cleo has to destroy all those vines by hand... you don't get iron for f/s until [spoiler], so it's either do the long work now or do the easy work later.

@B0B3y oops! f/s = flint/steel. it's not really a common abbreviation, sorry for the confusion. flint and steel would do the job easily, and there's no danger as long as you stay out of the room and don't place wool on the monument.

Poor Vechs. He mentioned in the latest episode of his play-through/developer's commentary of this, that all the vines in the map had to be hand placed (rather than mc edit'd in) and then he had to stay afk for hours waiting for them to grow. Now he has to watch as each person doing on LP on this destroys all his hard work.

You don't have to get it, but there is a chest around the top of the cenote containing an iron sword, a bow, arrows, a 64 stack of leather, ect.

Funny thing is - she didn't have to bother with clearing out the vines in the watery caves, since there is a shortcut from the VM room out to the waterfall ledge.
