@trlkly yea! it's all me, and edited by me. I'm glad you like. Hat is bass, hair up is lead and the two hair downs are tenor/baritone.

You can link it on a few bookmarking sites like Digg, Stumbleupon, Buzzfeed Reddit and Fark. It would also be a good idea to search for appropriate blogs to post it or suggest it to be featured.

This should get you a considerable boost in hits at least for a few days. And---from my experience---this leads to a higher relevance rating and therefor being put higher in different search results, which means more hits on long time basis.

Well, doing theses things seemed to help for Jungle Book.

@bordonthestreet It's better than ok. The video quality is probably the best multitrack on youtube. I think the singing is really good, but it isn't the best multitrack on youtube as far as singing goes. I didn't intend to insult the singing as much as compliment the video.

Sorry for re-posting guys. I hate to lose all the cool comments, ratings, faves and views, but for some reason youtube has been descriminating against me, and my videos never show up in open search results, and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it.

About the problem of not showing up in the search results: That's normal and no reason to re-upload it! The search is obviously just a quick approximation - that's why it always says something like "showing results 1-20 of *about* 8000".

Your video was showing up in the search when you narrowed it - for instance searching for "multitrack", upload time "this week". And with time when the relevance ratings climbs up, it would have showed up by searching just for "multitrack"!

That's the reason why I *always* use the "uploaded today" filter when searching for new multitrack videos. You miss a lot of multitrack videos when you don't do that! Is that the reason why I discovered so many multitrack videos you never commented on? :)

that's actually incorrect :/ I see most multitrack videos also because I Always use the time filter (I'm really ticked off at the recent interface changes to the search filters. it now takes one click more + load time to find new multitracks). I often leave certain multitrack videos "uncommented" so that you can get to them first :P

As far as search results go, my videos often don't show up because I upload them first by filename (silverbells.mp4 in this case) and update title later.

and youtube takes days and days to update the server with my new video title (once I correct it). By then, my multitrack cannot be found by searching for newest multitracks, and found pages in. So I'm trying this method to see it works. I'll be pretty pissed if it doesn't.

I see. But with time filter your video was in the search! Remember also that the search results are localized by your YouTube settings. Someone searching with YouTube setup to another country will get different results.

In any case: there was no reason to re-upload it. Over time its relevance rating would have climbed up and with it the position in the search results. In fact, you slowed down that process by re-uploading, because you lost that first day hits peak a new video usually gets.

@Josh: Now your video is in the search results for "multitrack" with Upload Date: "Today" filter---at least with German localized search settings. But as I said: I was able to find the old version in the search, too.
