Never thought their is another good trailer AMV maker besides "loosecontroiPL" on Youtube, but you are not bad either^^

But something is missing in your AMV's if I compare them with loose´s, but I don't really know what, but you should improve in those things:

1: The Transitions

2: The layout of the subs and your "Thallasin" sign or logo (whatever it is called^^)

The "Thallasin" is a little bit too big and "destroys" in some way the atmosphere.

What I like about One Piece, is that it's not so centered on Luffy, it;s not like he has some super hidden powers, it all comes from the sheer power of will, not like in Naruto, or Bleach, that they get some boosts, Luffy, well, he's just awesome, and One Piece is awesome. D:

The DF powers are very usual in Grand Line, so he isn't special. Haki is usual too, except the Haoshoku Haki (1/1000000 rate).

The most exceptional thing about Luffy is the "D" in his name. That's the interesting question.

He isn't overpowered in the One Piece world, that's why people with more experience than him constantly called him a rookie. His "gears" utilize his rubber body creatively, and Haki is used by various people and has various functions and was foreshadowed at the very beginning of the show.

His Gear Second is a technique he found out himself and trained. Haki is found withing every living being in the world. Kings Haki is the only Rare thing about him. Luffy strives for power. He doesnt get it like candy. He has to work for it and he did. Thats what you see after the Time Skip.
