You need to use beefier contactors and a set of AGMs, say a 96V pack of Universal Battery UB121100 model batteries. The contractor controller would allow crazy acceleration with no current limit combined with the power of AGMs. 48V pack ain't shit, aim higher when you get a chance to upgrade!
