Lyrics: in the underground train - pictures pass thru his mind underground train - a claring light startles him tries to look behind of his genioul words but there's no sense nothing at all how could they lead him astray with such a fasade blinded by genious words it's a quarter past two - pictures pass thru his mind he unlocks his door - the claring light startles him tries to find the sense of his own words but there's no sense nothing at all
i recently found a playist with this song and im so dang stunned that 30 out of 30 i have found i see so many from houston leaving coments i heard this song and many others at 6400 then when it closed at 2am we would go to lizzard lounge til sun up. gosh i miss that
Never of heard this industrial/EBM song before, but it sounds alittle ahead of its time for a song made during the late '80s.Sounds more of a '90s era.
@1848uenn Hi Frank!!! i can't tell you how happy i was to find this song! thought i'd never hear it again after an ex of mine stole my only copy. keep up the good work. BTW this was well known in Houston.
Ahh Tribantura! I still own the original vinyl pressing same as pictured at start of video. I'm fairly sure it was end of 1988 or beginning of 1989 when this beauty came out.. I had to order it direct from the label.
I'm going to put the beginning of this song in a movie and get these guys some mailbox money. Bought the album from the Record Rack in Houston around 1986.
i'm frank rückert and i was one of the 2 tribantura members.
it's good to see that you still like the song after so many years :-)
i'm still producing music and if you want to check out the videos of my solo project "üNN" visit my youtube profile.
it includes also a preview video of my new album "exit".
oliver langbein (the other tribantura guy) is working on architecture and you can find a link to "osa" (office for subversive architecture) at my website in the link section
@1848uenn Wow, what a surprise! I listened to your releases on Elektrolux quite a lot (amazing stuff, but somhow I lost sight of üNN some ten years ago, so it's probably time for an update) and had never realised the connection to Tribantura.

what a self-deceit
the same deceptive way
he's blinding with genious wordsfeeling guilty and low - exposed by his own lies
insecurity kills - a shameful feeling inside
tries to find the sense of his own words
but there's no sense nothing at all
perfect self-deceit
the lies told about you - you can't enjoy anymore
there's just a lack of sense

Nice track. The synths remind me of Technotronic's "Pump up the Jam" and "Get up".
But i heard that Technotronic was generally influenced by EBM/New Beat.

What a pleasure to hear from you.
You haven't got the faintest idea what this music meant to me and my friends.
It's like wine, the older, the better.
The lyric is still a mystery though, but never mind.
Well done mate.
