To those who are lost these are characters from the show Gintama. Gintama is a comedic anime/manga that draws from a love of anime and retro videogames and will do episodes with 4th wall breaking concepts like characters getting their feelings hurt over the results of a ShonenJump popularity poll. As a fan of both shows this is a pleasant surprise. To people comparing the two to each other I'd say "apples and oranges". Both are inherently different yet neither one is without it's sweetness.

@AmaryllisBeautiness gintama is a jump manga (like bleach, naruto and one piece) which often parodies other animes and mangas. it uses a lot of advanced humour eg anti jokes and meta jokes, mixed in with childish humour involving penises and faeces. it used to have an adjacent timeslot to bleach and so there were a few promotional crossovers eg the gintama characters dressing up as bleach characters.
