its something about the fact that u have to repurpose the original parts of sandbox for full advantage of the budget, because as you delete orignal pieces, they DO NOT go back into ur budget. Heard this on Roosterteeth review of the map pack.

inserting objects into walls & floors: put the object infront of the wall or floor the way u want it. then surround the object with boxes or walls(dont put one behind the object if inserting into the wall) then delete the box where infront of it where u will push it down or forward into the wall. put 2 or 3 doors on the front or top to to stop the object from going out. then grab object and push it around into the floor. then stop & put doors closer.

actully there is a easier way,first put the object where you want it then press X on it set it to "Spawn at start"no then start a new round put the other object how you want it then wait for the other object to spawn

You've got some objects shoved into other objects, as well as sideways sheild doors. How?

the interlocking/merging is quite easy, put down a box, set spawn at start to "no". restart the round, put another boxsomewhere where your first box was and wait till first box spawns, the should be merged now, then change the spawn at start back to "yes". for the sideway shield doors, just pick up a shielddoor and rotate it untill you have it in the position as you want it, press start and save changes and then end the round (not restart) then reload the map and it should be sideways.

its merging boxes with the ground or walls of foundry (or other map ofcourse) as i did in this map as you can see in the video. merged some open and closed boxes with the ground. also merged a couple of stairs and boxes with the walls, because normally if you put a box against the wall you will still have a small gap where you can get stuck sometimes.

well dont try to rush things, take your time, if something doesnt look good try it over and over again untill its good, specially with interlocking. patience is everything in forge, better make 1 good map then 5 bad ones.

i made my old maps way to fast aswell sometimes 1 in a day now i spend more then a week on one. learning interlocking + geomerging + having patience is the best advice i can give you i guess. also sometimes u c maps with like 3 rockets etc. dont go crazy with weapons placement
