I agree with you there, that Alex Jones'...methods of presentation are not only a bit extreme and over-eager, and in many areas far-reaching, but at the same time he has been the initial source for myself to a personal interest and investigation into certain issues which otherwise would have gone unnoticed by myself. But yes, if I hadn't already seen zeitgeist, the catalyst for my disillusionment, I would probably have been turned away from him by his extremism.

I am also convinced that the NSA and other secret services use search engines as tools for spying on the people. It has been known for many years that every word you type into yahoo and google is being recorded.

For instance, some years ago Google published a statistic about the most frequent words searched by people. The results were "sex" and "internet". These are the most searched words. Now how can they know this information if they don't record it? So it's obvious they're doing it.
