Got point about your take on northern soul.. They just used a few snippets from a 2 hour interview of me and done an edit of choice, not easy to get over how we feel in 2 hours, never mind a few minutes.. We could go on for hours...

Interesting to hear someone talk so candidly about this subject, although I'd say I have a slightly different outlook. Northern Soul for me is about transcendence. It's about utilising specific tools that exist within that music, in conjunction with the body, the brain and the heart to reach an ecstatic transcendent state that people involved with any other music scene don't know about, and couldn't even guess at.
