I just saw this episode for the first time tonight, as a rerun on late night tv. It impacted me so profoundly I haven't stopped crying since it ended.
@Stinkyfart I felt the same that your mum felt. I was a victim, but I can't forgive that persons because they don't remind the most important think, I'm a human like them.
I have never cryed listening to musid, I have never cryed watching a movie But this, This made me cry for the first time in years I love this episode. It was so sad I had to stop watching cold case for years untill just reacently when I was fliping channels and this one was on. I am proud to say that this and only this was able to make me cry for a short while
It was his case worker kind of. He killed him in the end because the victim's mother was dying and was going into a hospice, the case worker had been denied adopting the young man because the case worker was too young and a girl had told people that the victim forced himself onto her when he didn't (she made it all up) and he would've ended up in a home/hospital ward.
Man the scene where the victim got murdered, brings me some memories. That scene came from TV when I came home from playing Finnish baseball to watch this episode. When I saw that train ran over poor Colin I just horrified.
There is something about this episode that touches the soul. Heartbreaking and unforgettable.

My Mom and I watched this episode. I was crying during several parts and she was "Awe, why pick on someone so helpless?"
I never hated a kid so much like I hated the lead bully. Wonderful acting jobs on both their parts.
