  • whats up with all the exhaust?

  • i havea tc 100 it is very raer im 11 and it is broke right now but weare going to rebuild it win webot it its top speed was 60mph cant wait till we rebuid it it might go faster

  • Idiot, get off of that bike and never set foot on it again.

Hamtrak is right, keep your meathooks off that throttle,

    Jesus Christ~!!!

  • sweet!

  • I had that same bike, should've kept it and rebuilt it. It ran but had a few problems. That thing sounds sweet

  • it wont be TM without smog mised that smell

  • that things running a bit rich nice bike

  • The rm of the day xD

  • Nice!

  • I had that same bike...should've never got rid of it

  • I'd tell Gramps to keep his meathooks off that throttle, yikes!

  • I owned two TM125K's and raced them back in 1973/1974. They had a oil meter that most of us threw away to save weight. Instead we mixed the oil in the gas. Hard to say if his oil meter is set too high or his gas/oil mixture is wrong.

The other thing that's going on here is the pilot jet in his mikuni carb is too rich. That's why it burbles when initially revved and then runs clean in midrange & higher RPMs. The pilot jet governed mixture from idle to 1/3rd open throttle.

  • hahaha there is now no ozone layer above that guys house

  • its a rich mixture in a cold bike. blown gasket my ass..

  • I had a bike just like this 1, but it was a 400, not a 125. EXTREMELY FAST, AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SUSPENSION, but it was still a blast to ride.

  • Funny. How can an air cooled bike smoke white from a blown head gasket... theres no water to burn. You people really need to do more research before you comment so you don't make yourselves look like idiots. Its a two stroke, you mix oil in the gas, it smokes when its cold. Seeesh.

  • Wow people are stupid, white smoke means its running rich and starting to warm up, u need to keep the RPM's up on 2stroke dumasses. please leave the guy alone he prob knows more about dirt bikes than anyone who posts something stupid thinking they know shit about dirt bikes.

    Nice bike man.

  • my dad had one of these bikes he said they rip i didnt believe him until i saw this video now i believe him oh and dude let the fucking idle man!!

  • Let the dan thing warm up before revving it guy,

and quit acting like a Kid that dont know anything,

    let the bike warm up,

  • people who dont know what there talking about shouldnt post comments

  • white smoke is never good

  • Nice Bike! I have a lot of good and scary/painful memories about mine.

  • smoke show

  • I used to race a Tm 250 in the late 70s and believe me they were a very quick bike indeed. From what i remember the 125 handled very well due to its lightness.Lovely looking bike.

  • i had the same bike in '79 had it bored out .30 ever stuffed a wiesco in it and it never smoked like that.

  • Flashback! I can smell the Klotz!

  • turn the choke off

  • rofl smoking much?

  • Maybe it's the echo, but that sounds like the healthiest tm 125 ever! Attention newbies, save your it's too rich comments, they smoke like that upon initial warm up when the crank and cylinder have been properly lubricated during assembly. If you don't beleive me, go into the living room and ask your mommy. Excellent job, first rate craftsmanship!

  • Don't ever sell it. You'll regret it. I have for 10 years.

  • I have a suzuki tm 100 but board out to a 125.. but that is in really awesome condishion

  • man, is that fuel mixed at 10:1 ?

i had this bike, paid $600 new back in 1974.

I had a TM 400 also. that was a scary bike....

    lean that baby out

  • oils too rich...

  • it's the first start after restoration

  • @musicianmarius First start and you're revving it like that? And it's cold... You're crazy all that work will go down the drain if you're not careful!

  • @zackbranson Its common for two stroke motocross bikes to load up and smoke at first.

  • Love it.looks like my old bike.

  • that,s a TM 125.

  • I'm sorry, it's a TM 125

  • lol

  • @musicianmarius yes,a TM 125

  • @Motorakid it looks like a coffee table 400.

  • @hop21537 Umm,...ever hear of Roger De Coster?...thats what he rode,...early suzuki moto crossers, which led to the RM's which in turn ,help fuel the mx revolution in america and the world....so yeah its one hell of an important coffee table....

  • @Motorakid you have no clue what a joke is.....as far as R.D., YA,thats what the fans in the 70s called him.....i rode mx when half the riders had bikes wich wernt even mx, they made em by hand. one event in BAJA, i ran was for J&J and UNIVERSIAL we had R.D. and STEVE MCQUEEN running, MCQUEEN ran a HUSKYwich ended up in two! i had a MONTESA and DECOSTA had a tm125, IT COST $400.00 to enter, wich back then was too much! war stories! i like your video, and mx is and will always be in my blood.

  • @hop21537 My Bad i assumed you wre some dumb kid....sorry dude...I have a good sence of humor.....coffee table 400 it is

  • @Motorakid im gona dig up some pics of me and mcqueen and others you will prob go nuts seeing, give me a few gota get back to the set!! fyi...dennis hopper rode as well....

  • @Motorakid No,It is a TM 125
