He is indeed very good but you have to remember too that the background is drowning out his full impact, and being a well ranged alto he is a great lead

The arrangement and background vacals are absolutely amazing! However, the soloist's voice didn't seem to fit this type of song...I can picture him singing a Frank Sanatra crooning type of song rather than a Lauryn Hill r&b song. But it was still a good performance overall (especially the ending). Kudos!
