ZP sucks harder than a Virtual Boy. Marc can ACTUALLY sing. The overall performance too is a lot better. I saw them in 2009... it was.... ok. I'll go watch them again if they return to México, only because of Marc. He's amazing.

@NazoZero you dont have any musical training do you? because if you did you would hear that he's more in tune with them than ZP was in 2009. as for the power in his voice, yeah hes not as strong as ZP. but listen to ZP sing revalations live in 2000, he sounds a good side worse then marc does here, and this is what? his 5th show with them? give him at least half a year and his voice will develop. dont be so quick to criticize unless you can do better your self mate

YES his voice is in tune, during the ultra beat down tour they had to tune DOWN a step to ZP. this is played in standerd, marcs voice has better tonality then ZPs did near the end of his time with dragonforce, and your half right, i should have worded that better, you need to have KNOWLAGE on the subject before critisizing it, film critics study film for years before telling a director off.

Are you sure that's their voice? Or the technology involved in capturing sound improved? You can improve your vocals, yes, but once they hit a certain point, they either die out, or stay. Ozzy sounds nearly the same as he did live from the 80's to now. Technology with sound systems and quality recording in studios have improved the way we listen to music. It is not nearly the artist as it is technology's advance. DF always had bad sound techs, now they have new ones.

@NazoZero your correct, sound tech does get better but i recall ozzys voice cracking in many performences, now fixed, james used to be what today would be known as scream-o, now has actual melody in his voice. marc isnt even 25 yet. i'd say his voice has plenty of time to improve before he hits that down slope, and he might not. look at the vocals for iron maiden, bruce took care of his voice and its still in amazing shape, if marc does the same his voice will get better and stay that way

I'm sorry, but Marc sounds WAY better than ZP, his voice has a more masculine depth, and it works well with the band. He can still hit a lot of the notes that ZP could. And with Marc, the band can actually play in standard tuning, so that's a plus too lol

@Djnuttty Well, ZP WAS the original voice of the band, I did enjoy him on the first 3 albums, but by the 4th and live album, you could tell he was abusing his voice, and it showed. They needed a new singer, and they chose the best one. I got to talk to Marc while he was still auditioning, he's a cool guy and definitely deserved the part.

Still, I'd like to know what ZP's up to so I could follow his projects...

Compare the 2005 live performance of Fury of the Storm with the 2009 one, his voice degraded in quality in big time. It's a total shame =/ He was an amazing frontman, but the quality of his voice was probably the reason he got the boot. He abused his voice by smoking and other stuff
