We do need to start rebuilding not sending more troops and trying to fight this war conventionally, build better relations with the local people and try and give them a free, and democratic country back.

I Hate War!! i dont care about the cause It .has to stop!!Im 40 yearsd old, and i still cant understand why! The only way that you can make the US a totally safe country would be to take away rights and put metal detectors at every enterance and everywhere. Americans would not stand for that. Considering the fact that over 1/3rd of the population does not support the war in Afghanistan your view on the American people seems to be false. People here hoped that what would happen is that we would go in and quickly eliminate the Taliban, rebuild the country and be out of there. One of the reasons Obama was elected was he claimed he would get us out of there quickly. It is unfortunate that civilians die in war, the US has invested billions and is doing everything can to minimize this.

I know that in every war there is civillian losses, but unfortunately these numbers are huge due to US trying to minimize soldiers loss by using massive ditruction weapons
The end result is that the militants are multiplying and gaining more support from the Angry civillians.
Oh My God !! how many now years and the situation is getting worse.
Apparently war is never the right solution to this issue.

Obama will do no good, in Afghanistan or the US. He's already trying to make the govt socialist and take away our guns to reduce rebellion. Too many troops are in Afghanistan, what we need are small teams of soldiers that have precise air support like apaches and AC-130's that are very accurate. We do need to start rebuilding not sending more troops and trying to fight this war conventionally, build better relations with the local people and try and give them a free, and democratic country back.

I will agree with some things you say like Obama is worse than Bush and that the media is with the Taliban. I would have to disagree witheverything else you say though. I don't know why you hate the soldiers in Afghanistan, they hate the Taliban just as much as you do. It isn't their decision to be in Afghanistan. If you want to hate our Govt I don't like them very much either because they don't know what needs to be done in Afghanistan to win. Yes, I do know what it feels to have lost loved ones. especially the people who lost loved ones on 9/11. In Gaza it was 500 people killed, I too do not agree with the actions they recently carried out in Gaza.

I also want to add that I don't agree with our more recent tactics in Afghanistan (Obama's offense in the South and the deployment of 17000 troops to Afghanistan). These will only end up iin more civilians and US soldiers dead. What we need to do is start rebuilding the country. You need to realize that Americans do not all have the same opinions and do not always agree with what the Govt does. It is also not about avenging 9/11, the attackers planned the attacks in Afghanistan and supported.
