The bats that dive-bomb you are Skrees (and the ones with the impenetrable armor are Metarees). The moth-like creatures are Rheos. The things that zoom back and forth and you can't kill them are Rippers.
Also, the bird-headed statues that hold items in their hand are Chozo statues (the Chozo being an extinct race native to Zebes). The one that came to life after you got the bombs is called Torizo.
Hmm, well there are plenty more, but those are the ones I care to name right now.
7:17 It's called a Kago. A weird enemy in more ways than one.
7:27 Well, the flea things will hurt if you touch them, so you could consider them enemies. Although strangely enough, the game doesn't seem to consider them enemies internally.
8:00 Well, since it's not actually 30 FPS, but rather 29.97 FPS, whether we see Samus changes every few seconds.
9:07 Well, sure. The more well-known ones: the spiky things that crawl around in Crateria (but not Brinstar) are Geemers (a.k.a. Zoomers).
Learn to dash, it will be important later. Knowing the names of the enemies isn't really important, the boss names are though(in my opinion, Ridley is a name everyone should recognize). The squares with white dots in the middle indicate that there is an item(or a missle-refill startion) to find. Lower Norfair is a theme that is possibly made by Gods, remixed in Metroid Prime. Also, you seem to pick up certain things well.
@djftw The reason I clarified is because I've seen several people confused at a particular point in the game because they thought a dot could only mean an item. So they were looking all over the room for it, when in fact they had already dealt with the thing represented by the dot. I see no reason Uni won't end up doing the same thing if he doesn't realize this. Not a big deal, actually, but...
Oh, I take it back. It is 30 FPS. Interesting. Guess it's just due to lag.

@djftw A dot on the map just means there is *something* of interest there. Not necessarily an item or refill station.

@danielcdawson Yeah like an item, or refill station, Not a fullt description, but everyone should get the point.
