I quite enjoyed that. Expresses the book very well in a nice, subtle way. Very well-done and actually seemed like it could be a trailer for the actual movie as I haven't seen any of the clips used before. Thanks!

Fantastic :) Really excellent job :) Would it be possible for you to list all the films these clips are from - pretty please :P? (They all look really good!!) Ps Drerark ... seriously man, just shut up ... one day the world will be rid of the disease that is stupidity but obviously you've got quite a virulent strain.
This was really well done :D. I got a tingley feeling from it. This guy could actually do a decent Kvothe, I think. (Aside form not having red hair, of course).
@megsverse Thanks. I'm not sure if you meant it to be Kvothe but that clip really makes me think of Bast - his expression, plus the butterfly gives it a slightly fae feel. ^^
O well i can just see James McAvoy playing Kvothe! he's got the intensity and the tragic aura and the complicated feel all under the belt man! and he's always said that he wants to play a wretch and complicated man (or something along those lines... perhaps he said 'flawed')... so all he needs is to dye his hair and get some contacts, and Kvothe he is!
quite good. nice job on selection the clips. like magician1996, i actually thought that this was a real film. after i read that it was fan-made, i thought that u had found actors and had done it all urself. even though its simply clips, it still gets the book across in a very good way. nice job!
I am flattered that you would take the time to comment Pat, especially with a new baby who is no doubt causing serious sleep deprivation. In fact, that might explain why you liked my video...
Pat well done! it looks amazing!! u didnt let them fuck it up! thankyou thankyou! the name of the wind has to be my favorite book! By the way are they still keeping the bit where Kvothe goes to tarbean?? and u HAVE to promse me hat there keeping Auri in! she's my favorite charecter lol....apart from perhaps Master Elodin. OR Bast....damb its so hard to choose! why did u have to be so good a writer?! lol xx love you man
Looks good. But not much resemblance with the original. No offence meant, but considering that the book is more like a mingling of pseudo-legend with real legend, this purely legendary tone is actually more like an anti-trailer.
They have got to find all new actors form Kvothe, ambros etc. Must have new faces.... AAAHHH I wish he would release the third book already!!

Aside from the lack of red hair, this is a fantastic trailer, nothing is overdone.
However I still hope that "Name of the wind" and the following books will never be made into movies, I just know Hollywood would destroy them
