It's tiered play calling. Slant Left(IIRC) is what he has called for the D-line. And it's obviously not something you want to run every down. It's most certainly a game that Versuz is forcing himself to play, because he needs footage for support in favor of his argument that, "APF is a bad representation of football." It's hardly constructive criticism.

ps-I apologize..I know that there are FS blitzes, SS blitzes, and LB blitzes..I just assumed that because generally the DE's are used to get pressure on the QB, that that was also considered to be a blitz.... I know the DT's are used to stop the run and plug in the holes but I assumed that the DE's were blitzing since their main objective is to either sack the QB or just apply pressure.

I was just wanting to say that at 8:55, the line play is actually pretty realistic. The offensive line is clearly assigned to a zone protection, rather than a man/big on big blocking scheme..you dont follow the linemen in zone protection...moreover there is no slide protection called....which is why the AI blitzes and overloads one side of the zone protection. A slide protection would stop that blitz rather easily though...

What I find so hilarious is that Versuz is missing the point entirely. When has anyone ever said that APF was perfect and the ultimate representation of football? Every one of your videos has always had a comment that APF has flaws, it is not perfect but it is the best option that we have. I personally think that this game is still the best representation of football out on the market but that does not mean it is perfect, merely that it is the least flawed game money can buy.

As I stated before in your previous video I do play DL. I play DT and DE. When you have contain your job is to force the running back inside. If he swings out you have to go out there to see if he has the rock or not. Otherwise you can rush up field all day long and get burnt on the run. I like Madden overall but I'm not blind to it's weaknesses either. Often core football mechanics are ignored and the AI can be ridiculous. These issues are noticeable throughout the game in normal every down gameplay.
Versuz2 on the otherhand is trying to demonstrate flaws with specially constructed plays - intentionally destructive if you like. That doesn't really show anything, apart from highlighting what lengths people are prepared to go to when they have a bitter objective in mind.
It's very obvious that versuz just looks at animation, he CAN'T break down a football play, it's obvious when there is a RB goin into the flat, that the DE is defending him... Not 1 point in the vid does he mention the good defensive or offensive adjustments inside of the 2 minute drill... I really don't know y y'all keep entertaining this lame, but it's hilarious to see his vids on football get exposed.

Man that's exactly what I saw in my video description I didn't know about you till today so I subscribed I also tried to replicate the offensive line just sitting there and found out that adjusting the blocking settings and having a run heavy offensive line makes them do some stupid stuff but like I say in my video I can see how versuz tries to make shit up! ps-I apologize..I know that there are FS blitzes, SS blitzes, and LB blitzes..I just assumed that because generally the DE's are used to get pressure on the QB, that that was also considered to be a blitz.... I know the DT's are used to stop the run and plug in the holes but I assumed that the DE's were blitzing since their main objective is to either sack the QB or just apply pressure.

As usual, I commented on Versuz's vid (no foul language at all) pointing out how he never audibles out of the same slant defense so of course the D-line will keep doing the same thing. I even agreed with him that the O-line was bad on that last play. He did not allow my comment to go through. The guy is just unbelievable.

I was just wanting to say that at 8:55, the line play is actually pretty realistic. The offensive line is clearly assigned to a zone protection, rather than a man/big on big blocking scheme..you dont follow the linemen in zone protection...moreover there is no slide protection called....which is why the AI blitzes and overloads one side of the zone protection. A slide protection would stop that blitz rather easily though...

What I find so hilarious is that Versuz is missing the point entirely. When has anyone ever said that APF was perfect and the ultimate representation of football? Every one of your videos has always had a comment that APF has flaws, it is not perfect but it is the best option that we have. I personally think that this game is still the best representation of football out on the market but that does not mean it is perfect, merely that it is the least flawed game money can buy.

It's should be noted that APF has OVER 1500 plays (ON OFFENSE ALONE) and nearly the same amount on defense . (Yes Backbreaker DOESN'T have 1/7th of the plays that this game has/d .) As I stated before in your previous video I do play DL. I play DT and DE. When you have contain your job is to force the running back inside. If he swings out you have to go out there to see if he has the rock or not. Otherwise you can rush up field all day long and get burnt on the run. I like Madden overall but I'm not blind to it's weaknesses either. Often core football mechanics are ignored and the AI can be ridiculous. These issues are noticeable throughout the game in normal every down gameplay.
Versuz2 on the otherhand is trying to demonstrate flaws with specially constructed plays - intentionally destructive if you like. That doesn't really show anything, apart from highlighting what lengths people are prepared to go to when they have a bitter objective in mind.

Some other company comes out with a less<PAR game and its doesn't get the same fine detailed inspection from some of our GREAT youtube makers out here it just doesn't! So when I go check to see what ur take on BB and I don't see the same level of analysis I'm speaking for myself I have to wonder why and whats the agenda? I'm I really getting a true and unbiased opinion?

@KOYO78 Its not an agenda it''s just that were tired of that garbage that EA has been putting out the last few years. Instead of Madden getting better it's getting worse. Spoken from a former Madden fan, after this year I couldnt take it anymore!

@TheWestside13th ppl seem to miss my point or not read everything I commented on hell its in this video. I never said Madden was the game. I'm saying be objective & fair. If Madden is going to be bashed cause they own a license for that reason mainly. then just review the games that are left openly so if someone new was thiking about buying it. Its not based on some favoritism. Besides the fighting going on can we get back to how everything was just fair game. C'mon ya'll gotta see that atleast.

Great point no doubt!!! But I don't agree with everything that Versuz2 puts up. I speak as a viewer of both ur channel, Apex, Brozales & Smitty. I still believe that the way u guys go at EA is wrong my personal opinion. C'mon there is no way u can actually really believe there is no bias towards EA for whatever reason that has come up since they obtained the license?

Got him again. I keep a subscription to his page just to laugh at the stuff he comes out with. I've given up on trying to comment on his page, because if you don't agree with him, your comment stands no chance. It is comical, like you said how he'll allow comments trashing others, but weed out perfectly acceptable comments just so people won't see others disagreeing with him. The dude has become the biggest joke on youtube.
