and for a start i may be wrong but i'm pretty sure this is in minor where as she's so lovely is major.

sorry but no, they're both major and the beginning of the chorus is def almost identical. Same chords, same vocal melody and even the same key. Rest of the song might be completely different, we shall see tonight, but what we've heard was very similar.
