The price increases occur in those segments of the economy that receive the cheap infusions of counterfeited "money". There is massive price inflation in medical services and education, two segments of the economy that receive massive subsidy from the government.

There's a difference between buying a failing company to restructure it, making it streamlined & profitable as a going concern; as opposed to buying a good company, forcing workers to increase production then cut overheads by slashing salaries & laying off workers to artificially inflate the balance sheet to sell the company. Dr Paul probably knows that the Fed under Bernancke plans to devalue the USD sometime in the future by 40%. I heard that it is part of his 5 point plan. We were told to read the speech he gave to the National Economics Club before he was elected Fed Chairman. Point 4 in the plan was to increase the amount of dollars a great deal before devaluing them. We saw he just did that again over xmas by giving the Europeans 700 billion in bailouts.
