I love my Drake. One of the best ships in the game, PvE and PvP wise. Don't nerf that ship, just make the price higher or something. 40 days in the game and I already had enough skills to tank lvl 4 missions alone.

@HellownElijah Smartbombs do instant damage to everything around them. Missiles have health and take time to get from point A to point B. So if enough people pulse their SBs at staggered intervals, the missiles take enough damage to be destroyed before they hit the ships.

Moral of the story: Use projectiles. :P

No alienware, no pro custom rig.. just an old Q8400 with 2 gigs of ram and an ATI radeon HD 4600 running the standard windows7. My fps was between 10 and 15. Server lag was managable, 30s lock / module lag and 2min jump lag.

All effects and brackets were off except for turrets/missiles/ship effects at high graphics settings, no fancy bloom/hdr/external anti aliasing.

I also made the mistake of recording to the same partition my game is on. I recently changed that without noticable improvement.

@BlackDice572 - I think the Drake is fine how it is...if anything, I think they should maybe make it a little longer to train the skills for- in my eyes it isn't the best ship in the game, but it's probably the best if your new because you can train for one (minimally) in like a week and a half.
