I got the new a150 with 10.1 screen. Runs great. Atom is one powerful processor. Fire fox and google chrome are best for it. I also use it for gaming : Maplesotry and gunz

As for office you could have just made an ISO of the disc and transfered that to a flash drive and installed it on the netbook.
Yeah I thought about that, I have never made an ISO before, though I am pretty sure I could figure it out. I will try it when my Dad gets back from Boston, thanks for the idea.
What be the price range for the new ones and the old ones?

uh google chrome isnt a OS (operating system) it's a web browser, windows XP is a OS and mac OS X is a OS, google chrome isn't a OS!

Why in the world would you use Google Chrome? That is the worst browser I have ever used! Firefox would run BEAUTIFULLY on that machine.

Since version 3, FF is waaaay heavier on your machine... Chrome is leightweight and super fast. That you don't like it is an opinion, not a fact.
Fact: Chrome 3 is faster than FF3.X

Its not hard at all, most burning programs should give you the option. Its kind of the Windows version of a .DMG file.
