  • Does anyone know if it is better to lift very slow rather than fast I just started working but I lift very slow with less reps. Does it make a difference in size and definition if you lift slower? Thankyou

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 Form is better than reps. Do them at the fastest speed you can do them without messing up your form.

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 mix in loose form with fast movement sometimes as a mix up but for the most do strict form and you'll get the growth

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 the slower you do, the bigger the effect

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 It's best if you go slower rather than faster, cuz if you go slower you are working your muscles more therefore you will notice an increase in muscle size but if you go faster your building stamina within the muscles. So faster = building stamina while slower = increasing muscle size.

  • @shamar20000 slower = muscle size and stamina , going fast means its too light or u r doing wrong...........

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 Lifting fast merely trains you to lift heavy weights explosively, while training slow works your raw strength. I train at a moderate speed, but i also train fast sometimes as well.

  • the brachialis is in the fore arm and top of the bicept the brachii is the middle or underneath as stated the brachii is the power horse of the bicept and is used mainly in alternate dumbell curls curl the weight like a hammer curl till at a 90 degree angle then alternate till palm is facing you wilst lifting at the top half of the lift.

  • Does he doing this right? Is the stance right and the moves?

  • if anybody can do at least 3 sets with 12 reps everytime with no hassle then it's safe to raise some more weight... for musucular volume, of course.

  • Nice, but Hammer Curls are more for the M. Brachioradialis than the M. Biceps.

  • Toning... my "heavy days" are over!

    Thanks for your insight!

  • How many sets and reps would you recommend? Right now I am doing 3 sets of 13 reps... should I do a heavier weight and less reps?

  • if you want size i recomend going between 8-12 reps and 3 sets is a good number...possibly increase your weight slightly

  • What are you doing? buildling? or defining? Building- More Weight, about 8-12 reps(each arm)

Toning- Less Weight, Myself I do 18-24 reps(each arm, depending on how my biceps feel each set)

  • if you are able to do 13 reps everytime then you definitely need to increase the weight

  • i love hammercurls

  • how many reps would it be good to do

  • what deos reps mean

  • its each time you lift a weight and then reps make up a set there are usually ten reps in a set

  • if you want size than 8-12 if you want lean and definition then 13-15

  • Good tips--these really work!
