I just have an advantage based on looks, and it all adds up, whether or not you want to admit it. I also have to say that beauty does not come easily. Funny song. I love Emilie Autumn, and she's right on some counts. At the same time, in her sarcasm she leaves out a lot of the real advantages of being pretty. Everyone has problems, but the truth is that pretty girls have it much easier than ugly girls.
I found this song by accident but when I did I linked it to all my friends, most of whom have expressed similar things. I think it is wonderfully, beautifully sarcastic and back-handedly funny. Emily Autumn: We all know she is beautiful, but her attempt to conceal her tremendous ego through irony is a complete failure. She is obviously skilled instrumentally, however her skills as a lyricist are pseudo poetic and she doesn't seem to convey a true relateable emotion. as a so called "hot girl" who's been asked to model for Suicide Girls, I can definitely see both sides of this. Every day I thank god for my good looks, it's truly been a blessing in most cases, job, school, social interactions are made easier - at the same time, I know my looks are my trump card, I'm constantly concerned about my weight and my complexion, it's proven that "hot girls" are more paranoid about appearance than people who would be considered normal.

We were raised by the daughters whose mothers had been raised to think women are good for cleaning, cooking, fucking and raising babies. A lot of people haven't picked up on her Victorian theme. In that age, women were forced to marry men who were wealthy, and they were put in asylums for expressing political views and when their husbands tired of them and wanted a new wife. They were even forced to dress up and people paid to walk through the asylums and look at them like animals in zoos wearing pretty dresses. How often do you hear a woman reject a man, and how often do you ear a man reject a woman? Women hold much more power over men in that regard, and after a lifetime of watching women put on tight outfits, just so they can reject you... I think that causes some people to just snap. I suggest you update your studies a bit luv, because what I think you are alluding on is stereotypes. Stereotypes works great for generalisations over groups such as "white, female, born in the 80s and studying at college" - where you can name several factors.
Generalizing 50% of the population based on ONE factor is never recommended.

She is obviously skilled instrumentally, however her skills as a lyricist are pseudo poetic and she doesn't seem to convey a true relateable emotion. The majorty of music seems to surround the idea that she is more interesting then she actually is and is constantly trying to break out at being the pretty girl and is not succeeding at it.
