An awesome talent you have and I imagine you're approaching having a clear concept of all chords and keys in your mind almost like a mind mapping device as to where you "just know" what fits. This is a very rare talent. Tom Brier can do this also. I've seen a local talent "Lorie Line" who during her concerts asks the audience to give her up to 50 different tunes, and she'll make a medley of them right on stage live. Most of the shorts she's never played before and the transitions are seamless.
