This is Jose Hobe. She was a singing star from the Netherlands (Holland) and was a Dutch star throughout the 1980's and 90's. Her market was primarily northern Europe. Her native language is actually Dutch and doesn't speak English so well but learned how to sing lyrics in English even though she didn't speak the language. She's retired now and is in her late 50's (I think she's 58 or thereabouts).
