There is a mutant inside a Dalek. No robot has a blob with one eye in it. True that one episode said they were robots, but other episodes do say they are mutants.

This is silly. Robots don't have fathers, they don't get born. They get manufacturated and the organic aspect in the robot is grown in a test tube (I suppose).

Actually, they are humanoid's, mutated and put in a poly-carbonated armor death machine.

They were and would have been again if Davro's hadn't interfered with their evolution. davro's called them robots himself in the episode where they revive him. I don't remember whether Baker or Davison was playing the lead then but, clearly remember the daleks were refered to as robots.
