dont know if it works for anyone else but just keep pushing the back button or the refresh button till the site comes on or open more tabs or internet pages on the site you want. one of them is bound to show the site you want. I used the malwarebytes site and it works perfect but took a few attempts cause of the fucked up virus.

I download the program you told me, and it found 165 infected objects on my mom's computer... but none of them were the Personal Antivirus. The problem is, I can not download the update because Personal AV has blocked her access to the internet.

I even directly scanned the Personal AV file from My Computer with the program you gave and the program says that there were 7 files scanned in 'Personal AV' folder and no malicious files were found in it.

Yeah i got it off. MalWare bytes didn't get it though. In fact, a system restore to 1 week earlier got rid of the virus. So I had internet and it said Personal Antivirus was gone, so to make sure, I updated MalwareBytes, Avast antivirus, and my mom already had McAfee.. none of them found the virus and there was no directory in "My Computer". I guess I lucked out.

I now equipped her with the programs I use and have always had awesome luck with:

Avast Antivirus, ZoneAlarm Firewall, SystemCare.

I would suggest clearing your hard drive and reinstalling windows. That is ALWAYS a sure fire way of getting rid of a virus.

Seems to have worked - running full scan just to check again. I would recomend that everyone keep a second browser program on their computer. When I tried to get to the malwarebytes website using Internet Explorer, the personal antivirus program blocked my every attempt. So I had to use firefox, then was able to download and run the program.

Download the setup file on another computer then email it to the infected ysing something like yahoo email. Try to disable the malware as best you can by pressing ctrl-alt-del in Windows, and killing the PAV file. good luck. And thanks for the vid to the poster!!

an easyer way is to, open task manager,close personal antirirus(or pav.exe)then you can take all pav folders and trash them,then make sure all folders r gone by searching for pav/personal antivirus and its gone :D

Hi ") ok so i just got this damn Personal antivirus crap on my computer. I've been trying how to take it off myself. I have the same problem, i have tried EVERYTHING, i tried Malwarebytes and it did what it said, it detected the viruses etc, i pressed delete or remove, the files were 'removed' i re-booted, only to discover that the popups kept showing and i was back to square 1-it didn't work,however when i re-scan it says no detection of threat, so i not only have these annoying popups all the time,but i have a so called un detectable virus.
