  • @Tammi

  • Oh wow big deal, she's vegetarian. Waste of youtube to be honest. I'm also vegetarian, but it is no big deal; anyone can do it.

  • @xFaruzx I think its hilarious that meat eaters are "concerned" about the health of vegetarians yet its the meat eaters are the ones who are getting sick and becoming obese!

  • Proud of you! ;)

  • A lot of scare mongering in this video....reporting is clearly done by meat eaters.

Its presented as if being a vegetarian can be risky and you will be deficient in certain nutrients....but the same applies to meat eaters. Meat contains very little nutrional value, and you'd die if you just ate meat on its own....where as vegetarians and vegans live on average longer and healthier lives.

The mother is totally lacking in culinary creativity as well.

  • I'm the only vegetarian in my entire family, and I have NO drama like that in it. My parents are proud of me for making a good decision and don't get "annoyed" by it at all.

  • No need for drama. Just cook a veggie meal and the meat eaters can add their roasted chicken or steak and have veggies on the side. Not a big deal. I usually cook up enough veggies for all day and either eat them on top of rice (rice cooker makes it super easy) or roll it up in a wheat or spinach tortilla.

  • Its no big deal! I am the only vegetarian in my family! we dont have all that drama!

  • I'm the only vegetarian in my family, too, and i'm trying to eat a healthy balanced diet. This video was helpful

  • if you have to take a supplement just to get more nutrients than that is not natural and that is not what we should be eating. i love meat and i am very healthy and i still like animals. just because i eat meat and hunt and fish does not mean i can not love animals.

  • @Paradotical

I respect your views, but I don't understand how you could say you love animals, yet support an industry that is constantly compromising their welfare for increased profit, forcing them to live in more and more cruel, filthy and unnatural conditions - I don't know about you but I wouldn't want that for something I love...

  • alright... ok nice.. vegetarian... but she should stop the sugars.. .because her body doesnt reflect a completly "healthy" style

  • 'vitimin B12 is only found in meat' its found in eggs, brocolli and cheese. God ppl do ur research

  • @Pixiebabylove You are correct. I am sick of this myth. B12 is NOT a product of an animals immune system. B12 is produced by very common types of bacteria. If B12 is ONLY found it meat then how is there a vegetarian based vitamin for it?

Besides she still eats dairy. What is the big deal it's not like she is Vegan. She is still eating animal byproducts to her disadvantage.

  • Keep at it girl!

  • Good Job! Mom and Dad should be very

proud of you! I've eliminated all meat from

my diet I won't support an industry that is

cruel to animals. I wish I would of gone

meatless years ago. My two daughters

are almost meat free it takes time. Keep

up the good work, mom and dad need to

follow your lead. Your a wise young lady.

    lol!

  • @emlerron I only buy meat from farms that have the best conditions for the animals.

  • @Hejzwej

Then your meat should cost about 50$/kg. Varying not a lot from country to country.

  • We are not a cookie cutter society one size fits all. Eat right for your blood/geno type and we will all thrive on the right foods for us. The point is no God made food is bad or good right or wrong in of itself but some types thrive on red meat like Blood type Os and As don't digest it well and do better on vegetarian diets.

Telling others their dumb because of one diet over another is ridiculous and telling others what their supposed to eat or not to eat is unamerican.

  • Well, since we are not all believers in God and we are not all American, I don't see your point.

  • "telling others what their supposed to eat or not to eat is unamerican. " lolz

  • I'm blood type O. I've been vegan for three years and am in perfect health. What is natural and healthier for us as a species has nothing to do with blood type.

There's nothing MORE american than the freedom to dissent from the status quo. Advocating health and morality hardly constitutes "telling others what THEY'RE supposed to eat".

  • That steak looked damn good.

  • being a vegetarian is not that hard

  • @BurningBananasxx2 its not

  • if i told my mom i was gonna be a vegetarian she'd be like "have fun finding smoething to eat."

    lol

  • thats exactly the right way your parents should deal with you.

and how do you get your vitamin B12?

  • I´m not vegetarian but I guess probably from supplement.

  • people from the stone age eat lot meat and here we are they descendients?

  • Well we don't live in harsh weather or in caves, we no longer need meat to satisfy our needs, we can get them from the HUGE variety of fruits and vegetables available today.

  • they fail on science. i know b cuz they made a lot of mistakes.they r obviously a bad news team anyway if they have to film a girl veg and not any real news.

  • Gosh, theres hardly any food on their plates!!! I enjoyed the video, I'm the only vegetarian in my family and I too started at an early age. And I dont think there is anything wrong with taking supplements!! And vegans should make sure they eat cereals fortified with b12 and supplements along with folic acid to allow their bodies to absorb more. Vitamin b12 dificiencies are scary! And your body is not a car, you can't just refill when you're almost out of "gas"

  • Meat is horrible for the environment! Bad for your body too. Look around. Lots of heart disease, cancer, and obesity. Cut out the meat!

  • You're politically incorrect.

Meat is not only good for you, it makes you smarter.

No wonder you don't eat it.

  • "Meat is not only good for you, it makes you smarter."

hmm....that's the reason animals are smarter than human , lol

  • Also, in an epoch-spanning FAIL, the video claims B12 is "only found in meat". Not that you need much, but B12 is available in nutritional yeast, from bacteria (our sterile approach to food has this one downside) and many foods commonly come with B12 added from bacterial cultures (check the labels). About 10 years ago B12 was also thought to have been found in one kind of mushroom (haven't heard any conflicting findings on this so far).

Supplements aren't needed unless you live on junk food.

  • and also seaweeds

  • This video fails on basic science. Just like these parents- making their kid stress over non-issues like protein. On the verge of tears? Drama indeed. Cooking two meals- are you kidding me? Purple for memory? Excuse me?

Add iron? Science says the too much iron is unhealthy, and it seems to explain why meat-eaters are more prone to heart attacks. So why would a vegetarian want to "add iron" - when the problem has been that we've been assuming humans need more iron than they actually do?
