Well, Anime Studio is an animation program. Manga Studio is for making mangas, graphic novels, etc. So, I guess Anime Studio's what you're looking for.
look for a program called Papagayo. it's free and easy to use. basically, you draw a different mouth for different consonant/vowel sounds, and put them in a switch folder. Papagayo lets you load a sound clip, type in the dialogue, and it translates everything for you. :D
when I said "two days," I meant an hour or two per day for two days. animating characters is the easy part. it's drawing them that takes a while... xD
yeah, I first drew the picture in MS Paint, then imported the picture into Anime Studio and traced over it with vectors in separate layers. it's widescreen because the dimensions were 480x272 pixels (just like the PSP screen). I guess YouTube had to make the video fit into the space; that's why there's black lines at the top and bottom.
