Having been through cancer I totally appreciate and support what you're doing Lance, so wish I could help out more! I do my own bit for Cancer Awareness and often host charity events and do sponsored walks to raise money for this great cause! I so hope a cure is found!
I had the privilege to host a conversation about cancer control with a Public Health school here in Paris. There were participants from 12 countries representing the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America. It was a diverse group that shared diverse views about their countries experience with cancer. A common theme we heard was that cancer was becoming a global concern, where previously it had been seen as a "western world" problem.
